UKIP win a seat

See, less than flattering but hey, it's a photo so obviously defines the man.4 -
Ha ha. That's either some photoshopping homework project or the Pap who took that must of thought he'd won the fucking Lottery!0
-
Invading the man having lunch with his family is totally out of order.
Nigel Farage was live on Andrew Marr this morning, and tomorrow either his book, or the UKIP manifesto is coming out.
It is better to look at what is said tomorrow, and deal with that stuff rather than getting involved in such a soft target stunt.0 -
Ended up on the front page of The Times as I recallsoapy_jones said:Ha ha. That's either some photoshopping homework project or the Pap who took that must of thought he'd won the fucking Lottery!

People who find Farage/UKIP in general an anathema are just too thick to get it aren't they?Bournemouth Addick said:An utterly moronic and ultimately counter productive protest. There's plenty worth objecting to about UKIP but this is not the way.

I'll take a while on that one if you don't mind?Leuth said:

Anyone who thinks this is funny and justified in any way is a two bob piece of shit.
A load of fucking inbreds going mob handed to intimidate a family who are are
sitting in a pub having their Sunday lunch, intimidating and scaring young children
and then jumping all over their car. Just about sums those leftie scum up!
All because people don't agree with their political views.0 -

nobody hates Farage and UKIP more than me. Was in Downe today and saw these scumbags. Time to rethink, maybe I'm wrong. Certainly think I will vote UKIP at the election now. Yep, that's all it takes for me. Looking at these twats made me realise their enemies are my friends. So, did their protest work today? Yep, it certainly did, vote UKIP.
Having sobered up I just thought I would confirm that I feel the same.1 -
Looking at the picture on the BBC where the idiots are in front of the car I would say it's nearer 25 than 100. The bloke should've been left in peace to have lunch with his family, no question about that.1

Good old Britain.
Hate-preaching clerics outside Regents Park mosque - nobody does anything.
A party leader has a pub lunch - protest group arrives.

Your comment is more an indictment of the 'great English majority' rather than a criticism of 'the Farage hating mobs' .. The average person is just not motivated enough to go out and protest against or for anything after a hard week at work, they'd rather leave enforcement of the law to the authorities, and protests to the committed few .. when the 'authorities' lose control, then it might be a motivation for Mr Average to take to the streets in protest .. sometimes the 'great unwashed' protesters work for the interests of nearly everyone, for example, the anti Iraq war and the anti poll tax demonstrationsValiantphil said:Good old Britain.

Yep that's me. Really glad those twats rooted out Farage and his children at a private family function and let them have it. I was only going to not vote for UKIP.Lincsaddick said:

you misunderstand my post .. I was making the point that (for example) 'hate preachers' are not usually subject to mass protest whereas 'the committed' are prepared to follow Farage around and give him a very hard time .. the question is, how did the protesters know where he would be at that time and date ?soapy_jones said:

Blimey if it wins votes that easily, maybe Farage should have another "protest" organised during his Sunday lunch next weekend too!!1
-
Hasn't Farage been bleating on about requiring 'Police protection'?1

Nope, wasn't joking. Have today joined UKIP and have been appointed ' Head of Pub lunches '. Saw those twats in their fancy dress and realised I was more Nige than Brand. So angry today I could almost go and hunt a fox.Leuth said:

Plenty of those round my way since the lefty scum go their way, now the bins are toppled every night by those vermin. If only we had some rich people in red coats hunting again Waltham Forest would have less household rubbish in the street.masicat said:

And the foxes are pretty bad too.0 -
EDIT: maybe a whoosh, col needs to make his satire clearer0

I am on the left and think that this "demonstration" was outrageous and inexcusable. It also sounds as if a lot of the behaviour was illegal. Clearly Farrage should get Police protection- I know lots of Labour Party members and supporters and I cannot think of a single one who would think this behaviour in any way defensible.2

I know one of the ringleaders and she's on Mark Serwotka's payroll so I'm damn sure that it was OK'ed by the Labour powers that be.1
-
I very much doubt it. I assume you are saying that she works for PCS. PCS are not affiliated to labour but are very strong on campaigning and activism, much more so than many unions at the moment.SantaClaus said:I know one of the ringleaders and she's on Mark Serwotka's payroll so I'm damn sure that it was OK'ed by the Labour powers that be.
The union movement as a whole, is full of activists of varying degrees, but many are hard liners and believe in direct action protest. From my experience, the people on the this extreme end of campaigning hate Labour more than the Tories as they see them as having sold out. Just spend time hanging out with the SWP activists. Commendable for their commitment to the cause, but completely blinkered and no sense of reality or looking for real solutions to problems and a deep hatred for all things Labour.
This protest was organised (at least partly) by Dan Glass, a man who is a serial protestor on multiple fronts but never offers up any sensible solutions. He is probably more linked to the Greens rather than Labour. Any sensible party wouldn't have him, even informally, as speaking for them.

I had a quick look at Dan Glass Facebook page. He is clearly a twankunt of the highest order and if he hates this country so much he should go live in Syria.henrythecat said:

However he claimed to support the LGBTI communities. Does anyone know what the 'I' stands for?0
