I hope no one has pulled the lions tail.
  • Another 90 minutes of frustration followed by four months of depression until we play them again.

    Genuinely feels different this year.

Annoyingly their players always rise to the occasion.

    NO.

    It will happen.

Charlton 2-0 up at half time goals from igor and Ben haim

Jackson cements a 3-0 win on 88th min with a 25yard free kick in the jimmy seed end that hits the crossbar and goes in.

    'course not.
    Let the stereotyping begin!*

*but please remember some of the more sensitive spanners consider themselves an oppressed minority.

Ah, but will we be able to move on or will the police hold us back whilst the little naughty boys from bermondsey are allowed back on the trains?

I have visions of bob doing a mourinho Like he did at old Trafford when he was in charge of Porto. A last minute goal by Jacko in front of the covered end.
I have a good feeling this year.

All this "I feel good about our chances against them this year" nonsense comes up every single season.

They're going to beat us, accept it.
  • they will beat us. our players will crumble its inevitable

    Never!
it will be like the Alamo with Bikey as John Wayne.

Is this an internet message board version of a toilet?
  • I have flashback of joe Piggott running onto a loose ball with no player near him and putting the ball out for a throw

The funniest moment in a football match for a very long time.

That Joe Piggott moment was excruciating.

However, Miguel Llera's performance in the 4-0 loss at their place will never be forgiven or forgotten.

We've got no chance! Give up any hope now. I refuse to have the slightest hope that this is the year. There is just no way. Nish, nada, rien, nil points...

    Or just maybe

It's obvious I know but the team this year is much better than last years team. How many players from last year would get in this years team. Piggot and Pritchard ?

Granted, our team is much better than last years team was.
However, we could loan Madrid's first team and still lose this game, sods law init?!

I'm never confident of beating them. This year I am.

    1 word. Igor.

That sticks in my mind as well. Like a scrared rabbit caught in a lorry's headlights.
