Vetokele injured?

Some worrying comments on FB saying that Vetokele left the pitch in tears holding his arm.

Please god don't let it be a break!

I thought it was his side he was holding, a cracked rib or something, as after he went down injured he got back up and was running around again
  • I'm really worried. Looked in absolute agony, being helped off the pitch, arm stretched out, with help. We lose Vetokele and we lose a lot more than just the goals he provides.
  • I know it's a team game but Igor is a massive part, I'm praying his not injuried.

Could just be a tight muscle

Looked like a dislocated shoulder to me (not a doctor)!

Looked in agony. Bikey helped him off the pitch at the end. Anyone unhappy that Wolves played on even though Igor laid out in the penalty area?

Just bought my train tickets to Rotherham and I'll be damned if I have to sit through Tucudean and Church up front.
  • Peeters thinks it was a flesh wound to a nerve in his arm.

He doesn't think it is broken, but in his own words "I am not a Doctor."

Independent is reporting a suspected broken arm in match report. Hope that is not true.

Look at all the doom and gloom what did I say on deadline day that we need another striker and I got abuse this is why I said it but as normal people on here are not allowed an opinion
  • Let's wait and see at the moment. I seem to remember Prague Addick saying that Vetokele was a marked man would get taken out and so we needed back up, that was a valid point then and emphasised even more now. Fingers and toes crossed !

There's a striker coming in on loan by the weekend.

Not all this again, has Delort seen the error of his ways and will now be joining us on loan? Who is this striker?

I'm off work with a bad back at the moment Colin. Will I be ok to go back to work on Monday do you think?
  • BP said in after match that it was a flesh wound with possible trapped nerve and that he expected him to be ok for saturday.
Where the Independent would have got broken arm from just shows how much truth our papers say - because they would have been at the same press conference where BP said this - or were they even at the game?

    Doesn't need his arms anyway

No problem with that. They don't have to and the referee only has to stop play if it's a head injury. I wish we'd do it more sometimes.

Was fuming that they didnt but after a nights sleep... Would we be moaning had the roles been revered, we'd be pissed off cos one of our players would have done the decent thing.

Although saying that on Saturday against Watford that very thing did happen where a Watford player went down injured, we could have attacked yet we kicked the ball out so for Wolves not to have returned the compliment the abuse they received was deserved

Hope it's nothing serious. Got £5 E.W. at 100-1 on him as championship top scorer. Seriously think if he stays fit he can finish in top 4. Oh and yes, for any chance of us finishing in top six. (Got £14 at 12-1) on that too. COYR and Igor

My problem wasn't that the wolves players didnt knock the ball off (even though we did against Watford under similar circumstances) - but the ball then went off for a Wolves throw, Vetokele was still down and play continued without him getting medical attention
