Moyes has ruled himself out, apparently the Colombia manager is amongst 30 to have expressed an interest.

I've long thought that there should be a distinction between 'lolling at' and 'lolling with'.
  • Before we all start laughing too much, Palace finished 11th last season, they have added to their squad, they have millions added to their bank account, 3 teams that were promoted last year are not much to shout about and at the end of the season if they stay up or go down will be considerably richer than most in the Championship for quite a few years.
I cannot see Parish throwing money at Palace just to pursue a short term dream.

    Hope I'm wrong though.

I saw Parish on SSN on Wednesday and he looked like he was morphing into Simon Jordan all he needs is the fake tan.

Anyway well done Pulis, relegating Palace before a ball is kicked

    Reckon he's a shirto

Just got back from Greece. What wonderful news! What someone else has said - I'm feeling glad all over.

Anyone who thinks SCP even has a sniff of the job is deluded.

I think he is a great manager and really really hope he does not go there. They would really annoy us if they got him.

Objectively, not the most attractive job to follow up on. Wont be able to match previous managers record and now with a limited, un-ambitious budget to work with. Only someone with an emotional connection to palace like an ex player, I can see, taking the job. Its destined for doom and gloom.

doom and gloom, ex player, powell it is then.

If Powell gets offered it then of course he would take it.

I'm southern through and through, but I'd even take a football management job up north if Brighton came calling.

Football management jobs, and especially in the prem don't come along every day.

As much chance of Powell getting it as me winning the lottery tonight.

A small aside is that he will not even be considered for the job.

    LOL

Didn't they have this dilemma last time when it took them an age to get someone to take the job?

Even Pulis rejected their first approach.

They've had more rejections than a widget factory.

Tim Sherwood now favourite at 11/8

  • Whoever takes it must keep a few of the back k room staff

Malky was not comfortable with that

If they go for the Spurs option and appoint Tim and Glenn, that lot will probably change their shirt to white and replace the eagle on their badge with a hen.
