Before we all start laughing too much, Palace finished 11th last season, they have added to their squad, they have millions added to their bank account, 3 teams that were promoted last year are not much to shout about and at the end of the season if they stay up or go down will be considerably richer than most in the Championship for quite a few years. I cannot see Parish throwing money at Palace just to pursue a short term dream.
Objectively, not the most attractive job to follow up on. Wont be able to match previous managers record and now with a limited, un-ambitious budget to work with. Only someone with an emotional connection to palace like an ex player, I can see, taking the job. Its destined for doom and gloom.
If they go for the Spurs option and appoint Tim and Glenn, that lot will probably change their shirt to white and replace the eagle on their badge with a hen.

Hope I'm wrong though.
I'm southern through and through, but I'd even take a football management job up north if Brighton came calling.
Football management jobs, and especially in the prem don't come along every day.
A small aside is that he will not even be considered for the job.
Didn't they have this dilemma last time when it took them an age to get someone to take the job?
They've had more rejections than a widget factory.
Malky was not comfortable with that
