Looks like we need 2 CBs. I've not been convinced by Wood at all and Morro is not having a good season. I'd expect Wood and Evina to be dropped next week.0

Danny Green is not the first, and will not be the last winger to give the ball away cheaply. That's what wingers do. Had he lost the ball on the edge of his own area, that's different. Defensive midfielders and defenders are there to deal with such problems. The defense was responsible for our poor start to the season. Then improved, but we then stopped scoring goals. Now the defense is back to conceding cheap goals again. Morro is not having a good season but has largely flown under the radar. It's something Powell needs to look at if we are to stand a chance of staying up.2

Morrison? .. one of our most consistent and determined players over the past three seasons .. not the most skillful but a great tackler and motivator, usually as solid as a rock .. I noticed a weakness in his game at both Barnsley and Burnley .. a ball whipped in at just over head height from the right often caused him to lose position and touch with the man he was marking .. lately, he has ironed out this weakness .. please do not start to slag him off, he of all players does not deserve it4

Absolutely agree with this. He's not the best by any stretch but he does not pretend to be. Seem to remember Semedo doing ok at CB in 2009/2010 when we played Swindon with 9 men and then Brentford a couple of days later when we had injuries/suspensions there.
Not a patch on Morro though.0 -

i think Poyet slows down and speeds up about 3 times in the breakaway for their goal when if he'd just ran hard he could have been in a position to make a tackle rather than token gesturely floating along for the goal

Morrison was immense yesterday , made the whole concept of defending look simple .4

I think he started the season poorly, but has been one of our best players of late.Pace is not an issue for our defence at all Piggy. I think we all know we are going to do you on Monday, and Morrow will probably get a goal.2
