New Voice of The Valley 110 now available

image

Out tomorrow and now available to order online. We'll be outside The Valley from 1pm tomorrow, probably beneath large umbrellas, but if you don't have a chance to get a copy there then online orders up to Sunday evening will be posted out first class on Monday morning.

More details at Voice of The Valley but I will say that in my opinion it's another very strong issue . . . then again, I'm obviously not the most reliable witness on that point!

It's in your rag. You published it. And now you want another free plug.

Call me sad if you like pal, it's nothing to what you are.

it would be sad if such a mag only printed articles or letters that it agreed with. always good to read an opposing view even if you disagree with it.

Very Harsh offy. It's a free country and the person who wrote the article is entitled to an opinion.

Airman did caveat next to the article in question that it wasn't his view, but people should have the right to express their thoughts whether or not we agree with them.

Personally I thought that the article was a load of nonsense, but VOTV (like Charlton) attracts different kinds of people from different walks of life with different views and opinions all of whom should be respected even if we think they are talking bollocks.

If anything I thought it showed how good CL is and how diverse it can be (the aftermath I mean).

It's not all about kissing people's rear end, I'm sure you'd agree.
  • off_it is so tiresome. Like a dog with a bone. Let it go ffs and get your facts right in future
  • Airman did an article next to it giving a counter argument, but this has probably been said before...

Lets put this to bed, we've no problem with Airman advertising VOTV on here, the same way we've no problem the Trust advertising their magazine, or anyone else who publishes a paper magazine.

if we were doing something similar then maybe there would be a potential conflict of interest to consider, but we don't and there's not, so good luck to all involved and i look forward to reading them.

What fact have I got wrong? Enlighten me.

It's good of AFKA to act the bigger man (pun intended) in all of this, and of course it's a "free country", but I just find it all a bit distasteful and discourteous, that's all. Nobody's died. It's just my view. Like it or not. Doesn't bother me.

I've got a couple of ideas about publishing a magazine, catering for very niche markets in the adult entertainment world. Can I put up some of my initial test runs?

I always respect your views Offy, agree with most of them, not all of them though.

You could say the same about Offy's post.

Had Rick not published that article then he could have been accused of the censorship of someone with opposing views. No one seems to like that on this site and if it that were the case there'd be little debate on here. Anyway, as someone said, it's been done to death and doesn't need raising every time there's a new voice.

My husband went searching for a VOTV seller but couldn't find one - where was it being sold?

Usual places - outside the chip shop, opposite the Superstore and at the other end of Harvey Gardens - were all covered. You can order it online at www.votvonline.com if you missed us.

Left mines behind the Trust stall without being able to read it. Will it be on sale against QPR (or Weds next week)?

I'm going to Wednesday but I doubt I'll be selling. Definitely QPR.
