I genuinly can't mark tonight as any effort I gave to contemplating scores would be 3 times that put in by our players. IMO the marks above, with the exception of Alnwick are VERY generous.0

Alnwick 6.5 - A few vital saves, felt he could have done better on the third goal.
Wilson 3.5 - Instinctive to try and win the ball in that situation, but looked to be a nailed on pen & red.
Morrison 6 - Best of our defence, and did a job out of position.
Dervite 5 - Did ok, a few good blocks.
Lennon 3.5 - Out of position and unfortunately too soon for him. Gave away possession several times in the first half which killed any momentum
Stephens 6.5 - Our best player on the night. Showed some good touches and good on the ball first half.
Cousins 5.5 - Out of position on the right, but worked harder than most.
Jackson 5 - Battled hard. In hindsight (and judging by the teamsheet) a 3-5-2 would have been a lot better and would accomodate him without breaking up Cousins and Stephens.
Evina 3.5 - Not a threat at all.
Kermorgant 5.5 - Isolated
Church 4.5 - Lacks pace to be a serious danger in behind off flicks. Easily accomodated by the Doncaster centre halves. Ineffective on the right.

Alnwick- 6 Could have done better with the third maybe, but handling was decent and game was gone by then.
Wilson- 3 Stupid
Morrison- 5 Ok
Devite- 4 Poor
Lennon- 5.5 Extra point or two as it was his full debut. Tried his best, didn't hide and will be a decent player.
Stephens- 5.5 Worst I have seen him play, missed Cousins alongside him.
Cousins- 5 Why did he play on the right in the first half?
Jackson- 3 If his legs were as good as his Twitter banter he would be good enough. Have been a big fan but feel Powell is sacrificing a good partnership to accommodate him. Sorry Jacko, it is getting embarrassing.
Evina- 3 Says a lot when he was the one hauled off (unless injured). Poor first half again.
Kermorgant- 4 Looked disinterested after one good turn and pass in the first half.
Church- 3 Joke, is that 3 in 26 league games now? Headless chicken, not good enough for L1.
Wood- 6 Game was gone, did his best. Expect him to start on Sat.

Powell- 3. Poor selection, we were awful before Wilson went off and the "game too far" is crap. This was a massive game and only our second league game of the year. Donny played on Sat as well.
Have backed Powell in the past and will continue to do so, but I believe the players looked as though they were no longer playing for him. Fell as though he has been undermined by RD and imo is on borrowed time. Quite frankly I am embarrassed.
Maybe a shot on target at Wigan on Sat please.0 -
