    I have waited until now to mark hoping I wouldn't still feel both angry and confused as to the set up of the team.

    Willie, how can you give a bloke who spent 3/4 of the game in an early bath a 5? did you think he was that good before he got himself sent off? Bizarre.

    Wilson 1 (when you do nothing of note then get sent off after 20 mins, its hard to justify a mark; but I suppose not scoring an o.g. as well justifies it)
    Morrison 4.5 (overall defence was static especially first half - could have shipped another 3 in the second)
    Devite 4.5
    Lennon 4.5
    Stephens 4
    Cousins 4.5
    Jackson 3.5
    Evina 3.5
    Kermorgant 5 (hard to mark the front men down with zero service)

    Alnwick - 7: did reasonably well and had no real chance with the goals. Handled crosses well and a very good save one on one when Sharp was clean through
    Wilson - 5: it was a clumsy challenge but we were horribly exposed as they ran through
    Morrison - 5.5: struggled in the first half with little protection from our midfield. Did pretty well at right back in the second half and showed his usual level of commitment
    Devite - 5: struggled to cope with their movement but they continually got between the lines and the defence had no protection or respite, given the opposition's complete domination of possession
    Lennon - 5: struggled in the first half with little help. Stuck at it and did better in the second period
    Stephens - 5: not much of a contribution
    Cousins - 5.5: a ridiculous decision to stick him out on the right but showed more commitment and athleticism than most of our lot (not that that's saying much)
    Jackson - 4: can't cover the ground and was hopelessly outmanoeurvred in midfield
    Evina - 3: very poor but what on earth was he doing on the left side of midfield after his display there at Reading ?
    Kermorgant - 4: one exquisite piece of skill in the first half but totally dominated by Donny's two big central defenders. Like a number of our players, lost heart
    Church -3: totally ineffective. Failed to win anything in the air or hold the ball up. Had one sight of goal following an excellent ball from Cousins but blasted it miles over.

    Wood - 5: did alright but turned far too easily by Duffy for their third goal

    wow, dire but realistic marking by most.....cant see how anyone really gives an average mark (5) when they have played really poorly.

    @TEL Depends what your marking system is, 0 is not on my scale so 1-5 is < average and 6-10 is average and above. They did try although it never made much difference and allowance was made for being a man light. My highest mark was. 6 to Alnwick and Moro but each to their own.

    Alnwick 7 Good handling, good distribution, no chance with the goals
    Wilson 5 Our liveliest player until he was rightly sent off
    Morrison 5.5 Battled gamely on at rb
    Devite 5.5 No better or worse than the others (ie I didn't really notice him much!)
    Lennon 6 Stuck at it well but a horrible game to make his full debut in
    Stephens 5.5 Tried but they simply outplayed our midfield
    Cousins 6.5 At least tried to take the game to Donny but not comfortable at rm
    Jackson 5 Tried desperately to compete early on but too many recent games caught up with him
    Evina 4.5 Possibly the weakest link in a midfield that got completely over run
    Kermorgant 5 A few nice moments but none were in the box
    Church 4 Usual chasing but caused them no problems at all

    Wood 5 Didn't observe him a lo if I'm honest - like the rest of the team I was too busy being mesmerised by Duffy & Co.
