ive seen it all on football rumours now:
Chris Solly Looks set to complete a 1.5 mil move to West Ham
Charlton Will use this money to sign Former right back Simon Francis (1 mil) and Sam Baldock (500k) To strengthen their squad
Francis impressed when he was at Charlton and is thought to be the perfect replacement for Solly, Francis is also a favourite with the fans0 -
apparently simeon jackson hasnt been offered a contract at norwich0

Simeon Jackson released by Norwich.
He fits the bill for something this side is missing. Would be chuffed if we could get him, SEB or Vaughan, preferably Jackson though.0 -
Jackson! PLEASE!0
-
I want all of them0
-
Simeon Jackson on a free would be great, almost makes too much sense to end up happening.0
-
There's no way we are going to be able to match the wages that some team will be able to offer simeon jackson. Probably on 10k at norwich at the moment0

I reckon some one took my one on the goodbye solly thread as either worth a bit of banter or seriously like the OP on that thread0
-
no.1 priority has to be Jackson surely0
-
Can't believe we're going to have to pay £1 million to get our favourite right back at the Valley, surely he's worth more than that?0

So far, Obika's scored the first (29) and set up the 2nd (42)! Sign him up...and Jackson!! ;-)JohnBoyUK said:If any of you wanted to have a gander at Obika, he's just starting for Spurs in the U21 final against Man Utd.

Obika may well be doing enough for Spurs to keep him around, or atleast adding a bit onto his fee0

This is what I fear they might want to use him in the Europa League next year.

Jackson would be the perfect replacement for Haynes. In that he should score goals but more importantly play more than 15 games a year.
Notice they are also letting Elliot Ward go, but can see him going to a top spending Champ side. He looked class for Forest so may even go back to them I guess.
For our 4 strikers, I would be happy with Kermo, Jackson (first choice pair), Obika and Smith as Yann's back up. Surely we could afford that with the wages we have saved. Maybe even Fuller on a pay as you play if he doesnt get anything else.....0 -
I think Spurs should keep Obika if they have any sense .. but ABC or whatever his handle is, still might not fancy him and might go for a 'highly rated' unpronounceable continental0
-
This is where Chris Powell sells them his dream and they take a pay cut to be a part of something special000__Jaaaaay__000 said:There's no way we are going to be able to match the wages that some team will be able to offer simeon jackson. Probably on 10k at norwich at the moment

Eliott Ward did play alongside SCP at West Ham so he could be an option.0

We can do worse than raiding Norwich this summer. Vaughan, Jackson and Ward would be top quality additions. David Fox would be worth a look as well, if the price is right of course...0

Disagree. He's already nearly 23 and spurs have other prospects (arguably better) out like Harry Kane. Spurs play with 1 up top and with Adebayor, Defoe and maybe Dempsey he's not even close to any of their standard. Since they've apparently signed down Bale for another year they'll be looking for another striker who's got the quality to push them into top 4, not someone who doesn't even start in the Championship.Lincsaddick said:I think Spurs should keep Obika if they have any sense .. but ABC or whatever his handle is, still might not fancy him and might go for a 'highly rated' unpronounceable continental
Obika could do a lot worse than sign for us. He may want to try establish himself at Spurs but it's really not going to happen now. Think it'd be a good move to come here and work up the leagues, that's the only way he'll get Premier League football anyway.

Hope the board back Powell enough to make a decent offer to him (Jackson). Reckon CP could sell the club, and at 26 Jackson entering his prime. Fuller+Haynes wages for Jackson's wage is a great deal. Confident he'd start more and score more than both of those two combined.

Heard powell is looking at signing a player called Zach Fagan from arsenal. Friend of mind works down the training ground and saw him down there last week checking the place out...0

Released by Arsenal. Ball playing centre half. 18 years old. Over 6ft 3. From Lewisham. Suffered a long term injury at 15-16.0
-
Released? Two years ago he was the next Rio Ferdinand.0
-
Fagan would be a good addition to the U21s.
A low risk signing with the potential of a high reward in the next few years.
He was really highly thought of at Arsenal, but hasn't made the breakthrough (yet).0 -
To be fair they've butchered their academy squad. That left back Meade got thrown out and he has started for the first team this season at 18. Eisfeld meant to be going as well.Callumcafc said:Released? Two years ago he was the next Rio Ferdinand.
