    in the good ol days 'dangerous play' like foot up was only ever an indirect free kick so long as no contact was made .. I suspect that law still applies but is never used in favour of a direct free or indeed a penalty

    free kick wasn't a free kick but the ref has been doing that all game. like that one given to arsenal when ramsey went over after being slightly leaned on.

    The man in possession of the ball has a right to lean in to potential tacklers or to hold out his arms .. the potential tackler is only entitled to charge shoulder to shoulder and/or play the ball with his foot .. read the laws sometime
