there's still time Wigan ..come on !!!!!!0

Wigan will be tough to beat next year. A couple of players will move on for big money but they have a good squad and aren't saddled with debt.0
-
them and QPR , but we have something they (QPR) lack ..great team spirit0
-
Notice how the Arse stop pissing and shitting when they're winning, blaaaady whingers0

Love the people on The BBC site saying that wigan have twenty minutes left to "save their season" - i think winning the FA Cup has made their decade let alone their season. Whilst i do agree that winning the FA Cup might equate to the highest high, i don't think relegation from the premiership is the lowest low... Still a fantastic season for them. Might struggle to go straight back up though?0

I wonder if stilletos is still open.0

was enlightening on the pre match TV chats with Wigan fans ... the youngsters were all for swapping the cup for premier survival, whereas the older generation would take the cup as it's football history .. this might explain the demise of the FA cup in public esteem, especially amongst the younger set

At least the Wigan players look gutted to be going down, unlike those dirty mercenaries from QPR.0

Kone, McManaman, Maloney and the keeper .. what great finds they have been .. Martinez will be in demand I feel0
-
Big wigan away support0

Well done to Wigan on 8(?) years in the Premier League, an FA Cup win and a League Cup final.
I make them one of the big favourites for next season.0 -
They never won the League Cup, they got to the final.Callumcafc said:Well done to Wigan on 8(?) years in the Premier League, an FA Cup win and a League Cup win.

Haha brilliant JT.
Shame for Wigan, had hoped they'd stay up.0 -
That guy should be giving the middle finger to his hair dresser0

Minimum of 6 Europa League games for Wigan next season.
Means a lot of Thursday nights, and then an equal amount of soulless Sunday games.0 -
That also mean 6 clubs in the Championship forced to play on Sunday as well...Folev the red said:Minimum of 6 Europa League games for Wigan next season.

It might be hard to fit in the usual Tuesday night league games as well.0 -
Lucky Wigan get to reaquaint themselves with Smallwall again next season.0

I know Wigan have been punching above their weight for years, it kinda seems a bit cruel for them to get relegated so soon after winning the cup, it's like all that joy is taken away, a right kick in the nuts.0
