  • Are the red devils making an appearance with the new shirt on this year?

no - they are banned as they flew into the ground with smoke bombs

And the pitch has never been the same :)
  • Gutting!
Thought it was the best entertainment at the valley.
  • I would imagine that with the club buying shirts from a catalogue they run a version of JIT manufacture (sew on a club badge and iron on the sponsor) so there is probably very little stock committed that they would have to flog off cheap.

Thus there will, probably, be no fire sale.

With luck it will be Andrews again.

Much rather them, a proper, Charlton supporting, local firm who make things, than yet another loan or betting company.

On one condition: they change that awful logo. Maybe Nug could put together a few designs?

They are not going to spend thousands changing their logo just to please a few fans of a club they give money to.

The logo is fine, the money they give us is even better

That's the same 1989 Arsenal kit with Fly Emarites on it instead of JVC.

And Arsenal still have Nike next season. The Adidas deal starts the following year.

  • I don't want to state the obvious, but I can't help thinking that they will not be having a new kit on show on Saturday.

I know this lot are notorious for giving nothing away, but surely they would have mentioned that it would be on show if they already had one for us to wear.

I also suspect that it would cause problems with the current sponsors if we wore another shirt on Saturday.

As I recall there wasnt a hint of this seasons kit until the day of the final game...

That is assuming we have new sponsors. Or any sponsors at all.

Q8.....That will be an interesting logo for the shirts, I used to print most of their forms and Letterheads.
