Strikers - simeon jackson (500k)
Still need a creative centre midfielder just can't think of any at the moment!0 -
Forester doesn't always start for the Bees, not great tracking back, plays on the left (drop Callum?) and is a right footer cutting inside which makes him look better than he actually is (think Ashley Young) and unproven at this levelThe Red Robin said:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22194334 ... Cardiff make plans. As said elsewhere, the amount of debt and 'borrowings' is disgraceful .. a warning to us0

Tom Pope of Port Vale. A big (6' 3") and mobile striker, a graduate of Crewe's Dario Gradi school of science, a late starter as a full time professional (he is now 27) and a regular scorer for the past three years in a lower league but there again so was Mendonca. A Lambert/Morison type made to get on the end of Harriot's creativity and a potentially good foil/partner for Kermorgant or Fuller. We need to keep Yann and Ricardo but neither are getting any younger and will need r&r from time to time

we have been watching Pope. We'd have two Pope's then.0

Still don't get the fuss over Perkins?0

Who's the little dumpy fella who plays in posh's midfield?
Was impressed with him at our place and saw some of their highlights recently and he was well involved again.0 -
Grant McCann. Blonde haired fella?0
-
Me neither, did absolutely nothing in the 6-0. Probably unfair to judge him on that, but I would love to know what he's done that makes him so special.Scoham said:Still don't get the fuss over Perkins?

Its an opinion. You don't have to agree.0

No one's saying I do have to agree. Would just like to know why people would like to sign him?stonewallpenalty said:Its an opinion. You don't have to agree.

There's no major fuss about him. He has played well a few times against us, he plays in a roll we have struggled in this season and looks better than anything we have, he is probably in our price range with barnsley looking set for the drop.

Fair enough. I was only surprised because of the amount of people that have said they would sign him. Having only seen him once this season in which he did nothing of note (although, admittedly not a fair game to judge him on), I just wanted to know what made him worth signing.0

Lee Tomlin? Thought he was a good player in both our games with them.carly burn said:Who's the little dumpy fella who plays in posh's midfield?

As for signings Jackson would be brilliant but I think we would get financially out muscled by other Championship teams.
Unless it is a free transfer I can't see anyone substantial being brought in. But agree a new centre back and centre mid are vital.0 -

Would people be happy with selling solly for 4 million plus, if it meant we could spend it on buying other players or would you rather keep him??
Not sure if wilson is good enough to step into solly's position, get the feeling that's why powell got him last summer, so he could eventually fit into solly's position.0 -
He was very good at the valley this season.AidenTheAddick said:Fair enough. I was only surprised because of the amount of people that have said they would sign him. He ruined football for a fiver the bastardo.0 -
Has played in the hole, not often. Closing down not his forte. The Red Robin said:

Fortunately, I wasn't there for that. He must have something about him given the amount of people that want him, I was just interested in what. Cheers for clearing it up.stonewallpenalty said:

Gk - None needed, the two we have are fine
DF - If solly goes the young lad Smith on loan at Millwall looked an excellent prospect against us and has got rave reviews at WHL.
Bostwick from Peterborough, can play midfield also.
MF - Alan Judge, Albert Adomah, maybe Shaun Wright-Phillips but wages an issue there. Another old boy but Harry Arter at Bournemouth has developed into a good player since leaving us. Tomlin at Peterbro has always played well against us too.
F - Kevin Davies as a one off, to maybe replace Fuller if the knees have gone? Possibly for development Daniel Powell at MK Dons. Big and powerful but lost his way a bit. Paddy Madden at Yeovil looked useful on Sky last week. Not usre about Pope, seemed a bit awkward when on sky, maybe a rough diamond. Another one who lost his way, Stuart Beavon at Preston. Scored heaps in Wycombes relegation season but disappeared at Deepdale?0 -
Alan Judge and Perkins seem the hot favourites0
-
Sergio ramos and Pedro0

If Solly gets sold bring back Frazer Richardson (out of contract)0
