  • How much would Hasselbaink be from Hibs or wherever he plays?
  • If I was manager, my first objective would be to keep my best players. I would be on the lookout for a 20+ striker, although when you have little cash you have to take a risk on somebody.

If a player is available to you who offers something new or is better than what you have, you always must try to get him.
  • The squad we are finishing this season with is good enough to challenge now feet have been found. I don't imagine there is spare cash for signings so I'd just be happy not to lose a key player to pay some bills. Solly still on the payroll would be a start. If he does go I can't see more than loose change being reinvested.
  • As painful as the whole ordeal was last summer, with Brizzle going down I wouldn't mind us trying to get Baldock at a discount price again.
  • Midfield - I think we should go for Alan Judge (Notts County) who I believe could join on a free. Could be a real gem this lad and we have the right management to get the most out of him.
  • Our most important signings this summer will be our current first team players to new contracts.

If we can free up some wage budget by easing out fringe players on frees or for small fees (e.g. BWP, Hollands) we may be able to improve the quality we have with some players in on frees (Gower, Judge and or Roumba)

The key for next year will be to start to bring through players from the successful U21s squad (most will be U20s next season) in order to free up space for members of the successful U18s squad as well as the likes of Mambo and Smith

If we can get to Aug 31st with Solly, Wiggins, Morrison, Hamer, Jackson, Kermy etc still in the squad I'd be a happy man
  • Forrester at Brentford is a good player, would like to see him signed. I would happily take Judge also and if we had any chance of bringing Powell from Man Utd in on loan he would be a good signing.

Not sure how much Shelvey has been getting in the Liverpool team just recently and they will no doubt spend again in the summer...pipe dream as I am sure he would have better suitors but that would be a smashing loan signing.

As above, if we could keep our current team together, add a dominant CB and regular goalscorer as well as a RW we would stand a chance of playoffs poentially.

That said the 3 relegated teams are likely to be strong next year. no financial basketcases like there were last season (unless QPR go tits up).

CB- Danny Batth (free) (, Lewis Dunk (free)
    RM- Paul Anderson (200k)
CM-Perkins (250k), Bostwick (if Peterborough go down, can play CM and CB 500k), Luke Murphy (More unrealistic 1m+)
    CAM- Judge (Free)
Strikers- Harry Kane (loan), Simeon Jackson, Baldock (800k), Schlupp (Loan), Gayle, Paddy Madden (400k), Max Clayton (1m+), Tom Pope (300k)

  • definately think we should give leigh griffiths a go from hibs. Was at wolves, dont know if hes on loan up there but looks a class act.
  • Sam Baldock worth a go now Bristol City are down?

aybe a class act on the pitch but off it he's expecting his fourth child in two years with three different women.
  • What about Martyn Waghorn? Looked ok 3/4 years ago when we had him on loan, seems out of favour at Leicester.
  • Sam Baldock worth a go now Bristol City are down?

Both Baldock and Albert Adomah will be hot property in the summer but I doubt we will be able to compete with others clubs in terms of a transfer fee. I would be delighted with Alan Judge on a free, but I imagine several Champ clubs will be after him.

    He's coming for you .......
  • I hope not as I'm a geezer!!!
  • Kevin Doyle from Wolves, if they go down. Prefer him to Baldock as he has done it in the Prem too.
  • GK
Don't need one - unless Stoke want to loan Butland to us.

    DEF
Can't think of any specific names other than Shittu and Barnett - both unrealistic but we do need to strengthen here. We may need to replace Solly if he's sold as well.

    MID
    Kris Taylor from Millwall
    Sako from Wolves
    Perkins from Barnsley

    ST
    Max Clayton - Crewe

No chance. The guy is on Premiership wages, must be on at least 20 grand a week.
