Are NR saying 50 mins Doncaster to Hull or 50 mins Doncaster to Goole and then a train from Goole to Hull?

That doesn't affect people who have booked direct from King's Cross to Hull, does it?0

Yes I'm afraid the Bit of track that is having to be replaced is on the Doncaster to hull line so everyone will have to change at Doncaster and get the bus replacements to goole.RedPanda said:That doesn't affect people who have booked direct from King's Cross to Hull, does it?

I'm thinking of driving if I have to ride a flippin' bus! It's hell getting to Hull!0

Probably. Another line they could use, also has engineering work and I'm not sure about any alternatives (might be an option to go via Lincolnshire but this could be slower).RedPanda said:That doesn't affect people who have booked direct from King's Cross to Hull, does it?

Same But I'm only driving because I have to go to Lincoln after the game instead of coming back to GrimsbyAddickUpNorth said:I'm thinking of driving if I have to ride a flippin' bus! It's hell getting to Hull!

Ah, Goddammit. Was hoping it was just people who'd just booked a cheap return to Donnie.grimsbyaddick said:Yes I'm afraid the Bit of track that is having to be replaced is on the Doncaster to hull line so everyone will have to change at Doncaster and get the bus replacements to goole.
Anyway, thanks for the heads up. Will take the positives as it could mean a chance to stock up on supplies.

just had an email from Northern rail saying trains going via different route so no bus replacement needed. see below.
Thank you for your e-mail, which I received recently.
Trains travelling to Brough and Hull will travel via a different route so you do not require a change of services to a Bus replacement.
There will be an extended journey time but you would have to check with the train operator who operates the service, e.g Hull Trains, or East Coast Trains.
I trust this information will help you further.

695 sold before going off sale at The Valley, good stuff.0
 -
reasonable turnout (for us) fair play0
 -
that is really good probably about 75-150 walk ups on the day.0
 -
Add 4 more to that paying on the day! Looks like 750-800, not a bad turnout!0
 -

Probably even a few more than that. Fixture only confirmed a couple of weeks ago, no price increase on the day, large allocation, I haven't felt under any pressure to buy a ticket yet and have had the train booked since the FA Cup situation was decided.palarsehater said:that is really good probably about 75-150 walk ups on the day.

Which route would that be because trains going via Selby would have to terminate at Selby on Saturday and replacement buses from Selby to Hull.roseandcrown said:just had an email from Northern rail saying trains going via different route so no bus replacement needed. see below.
