Arrived in Hull, it stinks, that's factual!
    Peace Out.

    Glutton for punishment aren't you?
    Three nights here, GET IN!!
  • As far as the information I've got, we do have to take a replacement bus between Doncaster and Hull. There are talks about going on a longer diversion.
  • 30 mins added to the train journey up there, then "the 18:30 will be replaced by a bus service from Hull and Brough, to connect with East Coast services at Doncaster." From hulltrains.co.uk
  • At least we can claim for delay repay
  • Guess who's back!!

  • 1H01 0948 Kings Cross - Hull runs as booked but will have extended journey time from Doncaster due to undertaking a diversionary route (approx 30 mins)

1A96 1830 Hull - Kings Cross Cancelled throughout - (Road Replacement will be in place from Hull/Brough/Howden/Selby/Goole) - then passengers will connect in to East Coast Service at Doncaster
  • so the 9.48 now gets in an hour late. 40 odd quid and its an hour late, absolute joke

695 sold before going off sale at The Valley, good stuff.

How many was it in the end cos I thought someone said in the match thread 692 .... 3 returned and zero walk ups surely not

  • 692 oohaah, heard it announced at the game.

That 692 figure was never right unless there were about 100-200 returns this week or we released a higher number of sales!
  • Sunday wasn't a good day to be travelling back. First the damage to the track increased the journey time to Kings Cross by an hour, then on finally arriving at Victoria there were no trains to Bromley because of engineering works. Passengers were advised to take the underground to London Bridge via Green Park and catch a train to Lewisham and change there for the Hayes line. Got to Lewisham, no trains to Hayes (engineering works again), so had to catch the replacement bus service. The bus crashed into a traffic island on the journey (more delay) and I finally arrived home after six and a half hours travelling at around 11pm!
