weren't we alredy heading home but owed the taxman quite a lot and that we were desperate for money to pay them off before they closed us down. then lennie lawrence, who had recently quit and totally understood our situation, went and offered a derisory amount for him?

Anyone got that one of the team on the coach with the FA cup with the kids on bikes and on foot chasing them. Brilliant.

Not the one you're thinking of Pelham but hope it will suffice 'til that one turns up. It has got an Abbey Wood to Embankment tram and on the right (partly obscured) an LT type bus from the old Plumstead garage which had the last petrol fuelled buses in London based there. Interesting, eh?

Thanks March, nice one. The one i'm thinking of was taken in Floyd Road, I think and is on display in one of the Valley rooms.
