Vaughan got axed because of his age (47 I think). Apparently under the terms of their broadcasting licence they have to target an audience in the 15 - 35 years old bracket so had to get someone younger in.

When I listened to 194 it was Tony Myatt, Kerry Juby, Peter Young, Roger Scott, Nicky Horne, Gerald Harper, Michael Aspel, Kenny Everett, Dave Cash and bloody Gary Cowely!

Where do Capital broadcast from now? I'm based in the old capital radio building (Euston Tower) where i believe it all started. People claim to have seen Pat Sharp's mullet which apparently still haunts the corridors at night and refuses to die.0
