This, lizzie line to Bond Street, jubilee to Wembley Park, about 1 hour door to door, or to Liverpool St or Farringdon then onto metropolitan line

I think the Orpington line (Hither Green, Grove Park, Elmstead Woods, Chislehurst and Petts Wood) is down that weekend too, with replacement buses as far as Lewisham!

Thanks. It's literally been years since I've been on any form of public transport and I used to have to stand on one leg, purchase during a full moon and only buy the train ticket to London between 11.45 and midnight to get the best deal. After all that you still needed the secret password!

The easiest interchange is at Farringdon by going up to street level and crossing to opposite ticket hall and down to the Met line.
