Just really hope we get in the lead before half time, will be tense coming back out in the second half still 0-0. Would be great if TC gets a goal and gives him a further boost going into the final (hopefully) Really hope Doc and Coventry have a positive game and show there passing and game domination. Mannion although I would love to see him have a quiet game, I hope he makes a couple decent saves and has a area commanding performance.
Very Nervous and excited in equal measures for tomorrow night. We have to expect that Wycombe will bring their A game and try to bully us into submission. But if we hold strong and pass the ball about, wear them out just like we did for the last 10 mins on Sunday, then I’m sure we can come away with the win.
I really don't know what to think about this one. My heart says we'll have a bit too much for them at home, but as it's the play-offs, anything can happen.
I think it all depends on if we start the game with our best XI (Small, Berry, Jones). If we do, I can see us taking charge of the game and a goal would almost be a forgone conclusion - I don't see them being able to score more than one goal, if that.
I'm more excited than nervous, but the scale is shifting with every second we get closer to kick-off.
Everything points towards a win for us but if they nick one, they will be tough to beat. After the game at Adams Park, it’s hard to imagine it being a flowing game while it’s still 0-0. I’m confident…ish.
Genuinely haven't felt this nervous about a game of football in many many years.
The old question about England winning the world cup or your club being successful in some form or another has always divided people. The build up to this has made me realise just how deep rooted the fabric of this fucking football club is in me. Not even a close contest.
I love you Charlton. Please don't hurt me
It's a one off game so anything can happen. Can't call it
Worryingly I’m not nervous at all about this game I’m so confident there is nothing to worry about. They will try the spoiling shit house tactics again but this team will rise above that and with the big crowd driving them forward 3-1 to us
Very much hoping we can get an early goal and put on a performance like we did at Wycombe away and Huddersfield in the league. However, I think it will be another tense and cagey game with plenty of fouls and little football being played.
Think it will go the distance 0-0 in full time, 0-0 in extra time and then penalties in front of the covered end.
I've been fairly relaxed this playoff campaign. Even with the first leg the nerves only kicked in an hour or 2 before kick off. They've started this afternoon though.
Was chatting to a mate at work about it and suddenly realised how much it means and how these incredible nights at the Valley when we pull off something special, form so many of my core memories of each "era" of my life.
Also huge thanks to Sage! Grateful for your efforts on the previews.
Not as nervous as the first leg. I think our home record is the reason for that. Just hope we play the game, not the occasion. 9 hour round trip for me but worth it. COYRs
Wycombe ? .. Expect more of the same from Sunday when they ran out of puff and ideas after 80 minutes. We're fitter, more skilful. more determined and we are gonna beat them after another tight, tough game. No really bad team gets to the playoffs and we'll show them due respect before committing them to another season in L1 I'd be tempted to leave out Campbell and play either Mbick or Kanu alongside Godden. Expect Aneke to come on in the 2nd half to shake things up a bit Wembley here we come
This made me think of Alan Partridge, when he says ‘no offence, Lynn…’ and Lynn replies ‘none taken’ and he says ‘hold on, wait until you hear what I have to say first, before deciding whether or not to take offence’…
Saw this on Wycombe's fans forum and it made me chuckle.....
'The gate the other night wasn’t great and Thursday might not be as big as it could have been but there’s loads of reasons, and it’s never been easier to watch at home, remember that knock on effect when Sky bang on about how many games they are showing next season and moving to inconvenient times. Supporting a small club from a small town has never been a problem for me. I’m old enough to remember Charlton fans saying the manager who kept them in the top 6 of the prem had taken them as far as he could and should probably move on, I also remember us knocking them out of a cup while they were still just about there, so for them to be in League one crowing that they are bigger than Wycombe is just funny.'
Evening all wondered if someone could help - usually drive to the valley but due to sell out crowd I’m jumping on the valley express - does anyone know the pickup times for Route 6 for tomorrow’s game? Site only shows times for 7:45pm kick offs and although it’s prob just 15mins later I don’t want to assume and miss the game! If anyone knows please give me a shout. Big game tomorrow but I know we will be up for it and up to the challenge.

Think someone said they're using the same times as for a 7:45 KO

COYR and send WW back with fuck all.
Nervy win. We go ahead, they come back, we get a last second winner in normal time, everyone gets home in time for Horlicks.
It's something small in the grand scheme of things but it really irks me.
