Kone off to QPR for £2.75m and add-ons according to Sky Sports. I've got to say that sounds like a smarter deal than the one for Kelman, as I think he suits our style of play a lot more. Will be interesting if he can rediscover his early season form.
Olaofe a similar player to Kone and on his performance last night a far better all round player .. Kelman like Godden needs the ball to feet ..
We'll need different types of forwards throughout the season and they will all play a part. Different times i know. But I think Euell, JJ, Bartlett and Svensson are a good example of that. We have Godden, Tyreece, Leaburn, Tanto, Kelman and a few boys. We've brought in attacking midfielders this summer and created a lot of chances over two games. Its not all about sticking to a "big man/little man" combo like the old days, but i feel we have a nice mix there.
Lost his way, could be one Jones could work with, but we already have so many striking options, and he's never really proved himself above League 2 level.

Bet Wycombe are kicking themselves... Given the £8m (?) bid that they rejected in January, I know it could have been the difference between promotion to the Championship or not... But still
You have to gamble in football sometimes and it didn't come off for Wycombe and so now they have to take the lower bid which could be good business for QPR if Kone replicates his form for most of last season.
Quantum leap from the Essex League club Athletic Newham just over a year ago for Kone. The Ivory coast born player should adapt to the championship just fine.
How much players are worth are all to do with the length of the contract left. Wycombe do have money people behind the club but they just don't have the fan base or ground to kick on; unlike Charlton Athletic 🤞🏻
Can everyone stop moaning about Kelman. At least give him a few games to get up to speed.
It's not everyone and most comments on CL have been supportive.
In certain games Charlie will be the best option when the likes of Rob Apter are there to feed him especially in counter attacks. We have a great mix of attacking forwards and I want them all to succeed.
Do the Cafc critics really expect all the new signings to settle in straight away; rhetorical question as we know they do.
Chris Duffy might have scored the winner for us in the '47 Cup Final - But would have thought he's getting on a bit now, unless he's here to replace Hylton as the senior figure in the squad?
Shane Duffy feels to me more like a January signing. The sort of experienced by aging centre back you bring in if you're leaking goals, or have injury issues in defence.
An upgrade on A Mitchell as the Jones backup, but older and on much higher wages, and would he be happy being a backup?
Ipswich mate was saying earlier what a disaster he's been for them. Can't see it.
Same. One of my best mate’s father in law an Ipswich fan. Complete toilet. One to avoid. I think that’s a completely unsubstantiated rumour however. We’re well stocked with 4 for 2 positions or 5 for 2 if you include TC playing off someone
Al-Hamadi to us makes no sense. A move to either of Luton or Cardiff would make sense though, as he was really good in L2, and might be up to L1, but failed at higher levels.

Sounds good regarding Duffy...😉
I actually think Duffy could be a good signing especially if Burke is so injury prone
Duffy would be a nice pick up, played 45 games, over 4000 minutes and got 4 goals. That would be a real quality signing.
