Been talking to my so about the "good old days" when there were no transfer windows & you could sign players whenever you wanted. The only deadline was the 3rd Thursday in March. After that no more signings could he made. I remember we signed Bradley Allen around that time in '96 or '97.
Anyone think thats a better way of doing it ?
No imo just leaves uncertainty for large parts of the season of poaching and unsettling I think it's a much fairer way now get your business done and then crack on.
