Can everyone stop moaning about Kelman. At least give him a few games to get up to speed.
Things are going too well so people are having to find things to whine about!
Sour Grapes. They like to see claret in the water. Should put a cork in it.
Let's Sav a Red flag for this post. I Merlot against criticism of our players and Pino lot of blame on Champagne supporters.

Is anyone Reisling to the challenge? I'm Shiraz I can be that nobody will.

Disagree with me and you may find your Chenin contact with my fist.
    Hello hello 🤓

Good luck to him if so. Have a feeling that at a club like that in league 1, he will get 10-15 goals this season if given a run of games.

Have heard ahadme is off to Stevenage on loan for the season
Ironically to replace the striker who got injured in Tuesday’s game?

Ahadme news is probably a good sign that the sniffer dog is off his lead

Godden will not be fit for a while. I heard six weeks.

We’ve got Kanu, and M’Bick too , who are better than Ahadme .  Arguably Dixon and Casey .  Nathan, Rodwell.. Lisbie, Mendonca, Killer
  • Not a new rumour but bumped into Johnnie Jackson at a restaurant in town last night. He's still trying to get Kanu, had him ready to sign and DK wanted to go a few weeks back prior to Godden injury news/Kelman arrival. Said 'he would start for me' so you'd imagine that will eventually happen but waiting for full clarity on our side about Godden return date perhaps?

I asked him if he liked any others from us. I mentioned Fullah looking class or would he be too young. He said 'bit too young, I need L1 starters and its a tough ask'. Only interesting to note that thats a L1 manager viewpoint and I don't think he gets sent L2 loan. Personally think he hangs around for the season and benefits from our more professional setup training with better level players

In further 'not new news', the bloke was ridiculously nice and spoke for ages, asked me questions, showed genuine interest in the convo. Then again he was waiting for his Mrs outside the loos so he did have a bit of time on his hands to bat off some average at best chat from me

    What food did he order?

It makes sense to hold back any money left in the budget till the last few days of the window in case of any unexpected injuries that may happen in the next week or two and our transfer position changes

Does anyone know if we get a fee for the Kone move to QPR? Seeing as he's been in Jones back pocket all summer

People seem to forget how rubbish Kone was January onwards. They point to Wycombe changing shape, losing form under their new manager etc but the reality is decent players at that level score goals regardless of the team around them, look at May for instance at Cheltenham and then at us.
Another factor being his first season in professional football, so a drop in form/physicality in the final stages is understandable.

And that cheating on/off pitch fake injury moment in the play off semi at the Valley, while laughing. Dodged a bullet with attitude issues there methinks.
But if Hylton had done it ... ?

Bielek available from Brum - would love him back!

Bielek was really good when fit but he is injury prone and even took a boot in the bollocks by a Clumsy CAFC fan😬

Off to WBA because he doesn't want to leave the Midlands.

Ahadme is fairly regular down the David Lloyd in Kidbrooke, seen him there a few times. Last time my son summoned up the courage to have a quick chat with him. When the lad said 'Surprised not to see you against Stevenage', Ahadme rather professionally cited hip issues, and to be fair he had been stretching out his hip. Otherwise looks in very very good shape.

Ask him if he fancies a bit of lunch, see what he says over it

.....and if he's off, tell him thanks for the memories
  • Shane Duffy would be a good signing. At the moment if Lloyd gets injured there’s no one who can replace him.

He does appear settled in the midlands now at 27.
Krystian has had 203 appearances in the last 8 seasons so averaging about 25 league matches a season.

My son saw Bielek in North London supporting a Polish team low down in the football pyramid when he was still at Charlton.

Messaged my Norwich mate, his response was:

"He'd do a job. Horrible bloke though. He'll meet you in the pub after the games too"

Good spot, however I suspect that at his age and with his vast experience, he'll be looking for a pretty much guaranteed regular starting role wherever he goes

Mate is a Norwich fan - goes home and away.

He said Duffy is awful. Nobody could understand how he stayed in the team. He was the weak link.
Goes out every weekend in Norwich, getting battered and cheating on his Mrs.
Desperate to get rid of him. Offered to give him a lift to the Valley.

I agree we need cover for Jones... but Duffy... really?
