    Who needs schools and education when Charlie can provide bite-sized history, culture and strategy lessons?!

    The only lesson here is that you can't take the Eton out of the boy 

    Amazing to think that Eton was founded by Henry VI in 1440 as a free school for 70 poor boys from the local manor who were bad at Grammar.

    Now Eton will cost around 60k over the school year but it opens more doors than a myriad of keys, and gives supreme confidence to the likes of Charlie Methven, Boris Johnson, David Cameron etc*

    *For political balance I was going to put a labour prime minister who had gone to Eton but couldn't find one since Ramsey McDonald became the first Labour prime minister.

    Harriet Harman's kids went to my grammar school in Orpington, as did Hilary Benn's grandchildren. Socialism is always great for everybody else's children.
    Grammar schools in Kent are selective based on academic achievement i.e. the 11+.
    That is the system in Kent so Comprehensive schools aren’t an option.
    But you’re right. Grammar schools should be shut.

    Fair retort and I don't care enough to carry out the due diligence on all of their backgrounds but I would like to know how many of them have come through the Jamaican footballing system and not benefitted from the English setup from an early age. Sterling for example grew up as a child in England.
    Also I'm not saying all Jamaican footballers aren't good or worth looking at, if there's individuals with talent then absolutely but it's the only pond we seem to be fishing in overseas and en masse, they hardly produce the same level of talent as South America for example. If we were looking for an overseas link I'd assume that would be a more regular stream of talent.
    Fukuda is a weird Jamaican name...

    If that’s the level of cod science Charlie was spouting as fact it’s no wonder he’s been a disaster at every job he’s had. If there was ever such an advantage I’m sure the horrendous conditions slaves had to suffer would’ve made any advantage negligible. In fact the high rate of cardiovascular disease in Jamaica has been traced back to low birth weights during slavery. Scary that such frightening opinions can come from such an expensively educated person and yet Eton seems to churn them out.
    So you dont think that Jamaica has genetically better athletes than other countries? It must just be the training facilities that are 30x better than other countries?

    I can see Ahadme staying until Godden etc are fully fit. For a loan there is no reason to rush.

    I do, but I think that's down to their African heritage rather than Charlie's slavery theory, I'm sure slavery is a hindrance to any group of people.

    Reportedly yes, NJ has often referred to little injuries. Now that might be saving face but it could equally be true
