Jones suggesting in his post-Southend presser (see the ever excellent Rich Cawley substack for details) that we might sign more ("never say never")but also that he's going to give MD Jim Rodwell as rest ie there won't be the amount of transfer work needed in the coming weeks.

So the optimists will take that to mean that we've got other deals sown up but not yet announced, the pessimists will take that to mean we've run out of money as the owners have pulled the plug and the realists will say "When it's on the official site".

Rodwell out injured with Carpal Tunnel. Won't be back for at least a month, and even then won't be on the keyboard for another 2 or 3 weeks.

There will be only two more coming in one already there and played in some games the other will be RWB … then that will be it …

Not going to complain at all because the window has been brilliant but ending it on a Lembikisa or Bennett would be slightly depressing considering how solid our other signings have been

You not seen Bennett in pre season then .. nothing wrong with that signing in fact makes perfect sense ..

AMB, Taylor, Fullah, Kanu, Mbick most likely. Would say one of the Mitchell’s but with Burke’s injury crisis you probably need both as depth as you’re a Jones or Ramsay injury away from having Laqaretabau as cover. Not sure anyone offers us enough of Ahadme’s wages for us to consider offloading him rest of the squad not sure there’s anyone Jones wouldn’t fancy getting rid off

I thought NJ already confirmed only one of Kanu and Mbick will go on loan?

If we take 6 as gospel, I think it's AMB, A.Mitchell,  Taylor, Kanu, Ahadme and one of the lads Fullah, Dixon or Enslin. Unless that number includes the already departed Asiimwe

No chance - Linda Lookman has just started following AC and Inter Milan oblivious to the fact that the two teams have red hot rivalries. She has inadvertently stirred up a right hornet’s nest!

I think Bennett will happen because he’s looked decent and it’s easy. The player mentioned yesterday as long way to go home and meeting Monday doesn’t sound to me like the Wolves lad. If there’s are legs in that Monday thing then it’s very intriguing if it’s not Fukuda.

Still nearly a month of the window left. I can see a few departures later in August.

Nah just a hunch Fen', I think they will make a decision on the two you mentioned depending on who else in the squad is moved on, Gas for example or even Berry, I think the wages of both players at Charlton would hamper permanent moves elsewhere but in both of those positions we could say we are over subscribed. I think in Berry's case he would be looking to secure his future as he won't be here next summer, whatever happens, as for Gas, he's still only 24, so time is on his side, he needs a bit of luck and a reset to get anywhere near the first team. A loan for Dixon, Alex Mitchell, Kanu would help all three but maybe Fullah could be a fixture on at least our bench.

What if we have both Edwards and Bell out? deffo need a left-footer in there, i wouldnt ad adverse to Bennett, cheap and has experience
