Mwamba and Fullah are both proper players.0

Fullah is the future38

Yep, if anything he should be hitting his peak and potentially a better player than last time he was in this division.sam3110 said:Friendly reminder that Greg Docherty is 28 years old FFS, all this talk of "at this stage of his career"1 -
He’s also been one of the better players pre season . Dropping him would be extremely harshExiled_Addick said:

To my knowledge I’ve never heard a George Benson song. I just remember he was almost every footballer’s favourite artist when I read Shoot magazine in the 80s.Ferryman said:4 -
Get Dele Alli in. Would do a job7

Personally, I don't think we need another CAM but do need another RWB. If not Fukuda, perhaps someone else but needs to happen.2

According to my brother (who happens to live in Tokyo) it is being reported in the sports news that Fukuda to Charlton is a done deal and will be confirmed early next week. Don’t shoot the messenger though!105

If true there will be new records set on here on the transfer high monitor ( me included ) which is weird considering we know nothing about the bloke really lolflyingkiwiDK said:According to my brother (who happens to live in Tokyo) it is being reported in the sports news that Fukuda to Charlton is a done deal and will be confirmed early next week. Ties in with the rumour that a player was arriving Monday and had a long trip home.flyingkiwiDK said:According to my brother (who happens to live in Tokyo) it is being reported in the sports news that Fukuda to Charlton is a done deal and will be confirmed early next week. I’ve never been so excited to sign so many players that I hadn’t heard of until about three weeks ago.47

How on earth are the scouts/recruitment team of little old Charlton even aware of Fukuda and how good he could be?, do we have dealings with agents in Japan who may be punting him around? Is it Chapple keeping an keen eye on the Orient (not Leyton). All seems very high risk.1

If things keep going this well, we won't even need to try and sign any fifth choice terrible loanees with minutes to go on Deadline Day....
An honoured Charlton tradition wiped out by these nefarious American upstarts

Cawley explained this, he said with deals like this Fukuda (or someone working for him) will have instructed an agent to find a deal. I assume we were offered him and then looked at stats/videos and made a decisiongringo said:How on earth are our scouts/recruitment team even aware of Fukuda and if he is any good? do we have dealing with agents in Japan?0 -
Do you know what, my wife said this to me the other day.thenewbie said:If things keep going this well, we won't even need to try and sign any fifth choice terrible loanees with minutes to go on Deadline Day....

Except she said we have all the expectancy and excitement of trying to sign someone decent on deadline day, and it either doesn’t happen, or they are absolute pants.
You can see the difference of being backed and having a good manager and decent recruitment team.
The lead up to the match on Saturday, is going to be like waiting for Christmas Day as a kid and waiting to open your presents.
Lets hope none of us get socks!6 -
I don’t think we need him, but Kone not even on the bench for Wycombe today.
He’s not gone anywhere yet has he?3 -

Recently re employed and has experience in foreign leagues.0 -
Been quite strongly linked to PNE, so I presume that's in the offing and explains his absence.Mendonca In Asdas said:I don’t think we need him, but Kone not even on the bench for Wycombe today.

Swansea have had 2 bids rejected. Leicester were the latest club to have been involved. I really can’t see Preston spending the millions that it will take for Wycombe to part ways with him. He’ll go to a top half Championship club at least.thenewbie said:
