Clear from today we need another attacking midfielder, those in that position today looked mediocre,so hopefully Knibbs.
Another year on and Fullah would have fitted the bill, but too soon for him.
We need a replacement for Godden and one for Berry, so Kelman and Knibbs. (Not saying Godden and Berry won't be around, but not for 46 games)

A post here on a Reading forum saying Wrexham have had a bid accepted for Knibbs

They’ve just signed Windass surely Knibbs wouldn’t make much sense to sign now.

Although Portsmouth local rag saying at 8pm last night:

Portsmouth news round-up: Harvey Knibbs update as transfer now agreed

    https://www.theportsmouthnews.com/2025/07/25/portsmouth-news-round-up-harvey-knibbs-update-as-transfer-now-agreed/
The article is a bit ambiguous as it doesn't confirm Portsmouth as the club involved?

QPR finished 15th last year … why aren’t they keeping him?

Yeah that's a bizarre round up article that says absolutely nothing. Pompey did play reading today but that means nothing in this situation.

Maybe he wants to leave and QPR don’t want to lose him for nothing next summer when he’s out of contract.

Think it works differently in the champ. Allowed to lose 13m a season or 39m over 3

Don’t get me wrong I’m glad to see us backed but we lost £13.8m in the last accounts and we didn’t spend any significant fees. Obviously more Champ money etc but we’ll need to be very clever for the next 2 years, we will probably have to sell someone at some point

Makes him our most expensive signing in history if add-ons are hit I think?

£3.5m seems a lot but Kelman is young and has potential. We really are going for it

Think we get around 11m extra TV revenue so wouldn't be too concerned.

With adds on Darren Bent’s transfer fee was £5.175M
