One observation I will make is that last January when the squad was reduced I was really really concerned that injuries would catch up with us and prevent us from competing as we did in the final quarter of the season. Will Abbott and Adam Coe performed nothing short of miracles - those going home and away and sticking around to when the players leave would have seen the ice packing configurations strapped to certain players’ knees or legs. To the point on more than one occasion I spoke to them and suggested their leg looked ‘fcuked’ to which they explained that the medical team were doing exactly what was necessary to ensure that was not the case.That medical/performance team will be crucial again and if they can help keep the likes of Burke more fit than his past seasons trend appears to be we have a top class defender at this level on our books. Grateful to the owners for funding, confident in NJ & Chapple to recruit what we need to stay up and be competitive. Bring on the season!12 -
Excellent signing that should finish the defensive side and allow Ramsey to play the Small role … now the most difficult and expensive position next that’s a winger / striker and number 10 that will be it i expect ?

Funny, because I thought our defence was the last place we needed more bodies.
It's in midfield, out wide & up front we really need strengthening.

Doesn't make much sense to sell players when they won't be able to sign any if the embargo remains and it is that strict.
