Right, I'm ITK now - here’s what I can say — and this is coming from a reliable contact of mine who’s connected to the media team at Guingamp. We're working on bringing in a few under-the-radar signings, and from what I’m told, there’s definite interest in Jérémy Livolant. He’s been a key figure at Guingamp — aggressive, direct, and tactically sharp. Can play out wide or as a second striker. He’s Championship-ready in terms of work rate and physicality, and there’s a belief that he could adapt quickly to the tempo of English football. Guingamp are open to letting him go for the right fee, and Charlton have been monitoring the situation for a while now.On top of that, there’s been some discussion — less developed, but still on the radar — around Niclas Thiede, the German goalkeeper at Eintracht Braunschweig. He’s 25, good size, strong shot-stopper, and comfortable playing out from the back. From what I gather, he’s viewed as someone who could push for the No. 1 shirt or at the very least provide serious competition. A smart depth option in a long, physical season. The most surprising name, though — and I’ll admit this one raised an eyebrow — is Felipinho from Avaí in Brazil’s Série B. He’s only 22, a lively, creative forward with a real eye for a pass. Not the finished article, but there’s raw ability there and Charlton have apparently had scouts watching him. Could be one of those clever, low-cost gambles that pays off big if the coaching staff get it right.
Got you going there, eh,😉12 -
From the Championship transfer thread - eight clubs have made two or more signings, meaning the other sixteen have made one or fewer.4

Mentioned possible target Mustapha Bundu leaves Plymouth for a Bundesliga 2 side.
To remind you. Alfie May wasn't a Jones player so we sold him & signed Ahadme instead.

Perhaps time to trust Nathan Jones a bit?38 -

Although of course i wouldn't expect us to be shopping for the same players as any of those. And you could argue the 3 who came down knew their fate about 3 months earlier than us.

Sounds like they will definitely look to sell this summer, it's just how many clubs are willing to spend the rumoured 5 million on a 27 year old who has only performed at League 1 and 2 level.
I am of the view he would be a great signing and I think he would do really well here, but that's a huge fee, and it ain't my money.1 - Sponsored links:

I read the article and the linked clubs and for those that didn't the clubs are Leeds, Parma, Empoli and Cremonese.
The journalist, Alfredo Pedullà who shared the article is apparently very reputable, so the interest might actually be genuine.
The transfer fee isn't too outrageous. The Swedish club are asking for 22 million Krona, which equates to roughly 1.7 million pounds, isn't a crazy fee for a keeper of that quality looking at his stats*
Here is the wording and translated:
"Uppgifter: Leeds United, Charlton Athletic, Parma Calcio, Empoli FC och US Cremonese är intresserade av Noel Törnqvist, 23. Mjällby AIF uppges kräva omkring 22 miljoner kronor för målvakten.📰Alfredo Pedullá (🇮🇹)"

I always think keepers are worth spending a bit on. Arguably the most important position and at 23, we could get some great mileage out of him.
Anyway, sounds like a pipe dream as things stand.0 -

When it comes to players and London doesn’t it cut both ways?An agent can say ‘Go to Oxford United and be a big fish in a small pool, but go to Charlton, to London, and nobody notices you as you get drowned in a torrent of footballers.’
Although money probably beats every consideration.0 -

I am not panicking with the new signings. But it would be good to have a few done by the time we go away.4
