How would people feel if Charlton introduced this way of earning extra points?

I wouldn't be a fan of it. I go to every game, home and away, so points shouldn't be an issue to me.

I would actually like to go to watch the women as well, but since I am already spending so much money on the above and I don't live close enough to London, there's no way that I can justify travelling to watch the women too.

Some of the dates also don't line up. For instance, on the 14th of September this season, the men were away to Shrewsbury Town on the same day the women were away to Sheffield United.

While that's the only direct clash, there were also a few instances such as the 23rd and 24th of November, where the men were at one end of the country on a Saturday and the woman at the other on the Sunday.

Ultimately, this would be giving fans who live locally and don't attend away games an almost equal footing with those of us that attend every game, which doesn't seem fair.

What's the date that existing ST holders have to renew by to retain their current seat? Or has that passed?

Don't agree with that at all. Women's football just isn't as enjoyable to watch and shouldn't be impacted with the Men's side.

I understand why they're doing it, but then they'll have some fans who feel obliged to spend more money just to watch the mens team, bit cheeky imo.

All I'll say is that I wouldn't earn any extra points 😂
I think that is a good idea. A way to get people to engage with women`s teams.  For me it would be good if our women`s home games are played on weekends when the men`s team are playing away.
Why should we have to? It's an added cost for a team/sport that none of us follow. It's a ridiculous concept.

Im interested to see what the club do about the 70/80 family stand seats that nobody can buy because only singles are available.

That's why I asked about the end date. If I could get two together, I'd buy.

Unfortunately I'll be on the second day of a stag in Hvar on the 6th...

Supporters have until 11.59pm on Friday, June 6th to renew their season ticket in the same seat for the 2025/26 campaign.

Following Friday’s deadline, all seats will be made available for general sale from 11am on Saturday morning.

I really resent attempts to find ways to force you to watch the dirge that is women's football.

I never  comment on the women's threads on CL as I  don't want to get into an argument about it.

I'm interested in looking there also. Oddly there's a few end of aisle single seats that have been taken.

Only thing I can think of is that they've been purchased with the intention of just moving to the NU, there's no way people with kids who attend are buying the separated seats.

Unless they're an additional family member, and the rest of the family are in the row in front or behind, but they couldn't buy an adjacent seat?

Quite possibly, I look forward to seeing photos of a full family stand for games next season.

I'll be very interested to know how season ticket sales are going? In early April I heard that thery were about 15% up compared to last year but....Just looked at my part of the ground (Upper West P) and whilst not an area that has been recently busy, season ticket reserved seats are thin on the ground (about 15% of available seats).

Makes me annoyed how Charlton screwed up translating last seasons momentum by too quickly upping the prices.

It's a shame the club could not of waited 2 weeks before upping the prices.

Think it’s easy to blame it on that - it annoys me more that those who turn up and enjoy the end of season big games, dont then commit - it’s why Warwick was so pleased with the burton turn out because it was a run of the mill rather than ‘glamour’ fixture

I don’t have a lot of spare money, practically can’t get to loads of games and couldn’t afford a season ticket anyway. Given that I have to pick and choose my games, I’m going to prioritise the big meaningful ones over the Tuesday night in February type ones. Yes, it is fairweather and frustrating to the die hards, but it shouldn’t be surprising if there are a lot of supporters in a similar position.

It’s pretty obvious, looking at what’s still available, that west upper M&N and AC Stand D&E are seriously overpriced, as they have been for a number of years.

Don’t be silly @Airman Brownwe have an expensive SMT who know / knew far better than us mere mortals.
    Your conclusion must be flawed.

After all our former CEO has a whole podcast about football finances…

Lastnight Jnr expressed his desire for a ST next season, Mrs was not happy at all 😆. Is the free JNR ST still an option in the family stand ? cant see it when I look at the website.

Me and my daughter went to about 10-12 home games last season and always got tickets in the same row as my family who are season ticket holders. Will most likely do the same amount of games next season.

Have decided to get season tickets as we want to sit with my family and the seats in that area are now starting to sell out.

They’re getting rid of the (new last season) Centre Circle Lounge and making the 1905 Lounge all the way along , even though some people had paid for next seasons package for the Centre Circle early .
Centre Circle was for more a boozy one and a little bit of food offered, now with 1905 it’s just a full on buffet and 50% price hike from last seasons numbers at the centre circle .

I think we ended up with about 8,500 last season including half STs?

Assume no intel on what the current sales are yet?

It was when I renewed, I take two of mine and one was free and the other £30. Great value imo!
