Started at Watford, came to us from Spurs for a couple of seasons, then returned to Watford .. didn't see him much as I was abroad a lot during this time. I remember a hard working midfielder in a mediocre team that was relegated in 1972 (fact check required lol)

I remember the League game at home to Palace being the same, as archaic as parts of the Valley were, it was a magnificent sight when full, or almost full lolcharltonbob said:

Small stocky player who never really stood out considering he came from the level above.
That said we have had far worse midfielders.1 -
He was our record signing for a good few years, a decent player who played during a "difficult" time for us.
