My old army battalion core belt colours in NZ were blue/yellow/blue so the corresponding drink was blue caracao / advocaat / blue caracao. A little bit of sick just came up thinking about it.

Come on, who of those of certain vintage, would admit, as a teenager, to taking a Watneys Party Seven or, even worse, a bottle of cinzano to a party because they were all they could afford? Both pretty damn disgusting. Do tell me I'm not unique in that respect!!!!

Used to get a tin of this for card playing sessions with my schoolmates at home. Picked it up from the offy and cycled home with it on the back of the bike.
Gave no thought to the fact it had got a bit shaken up on the journey, and immediately I pierced the top a jet of cheap bitter hit the ceiling with great force and shot across the room soaking everything in its path. My mother, upon returning home, was not best pleased with the state of her kitchen.

Sambuca is lovely when done properly with roasted coffee beans.

When I was a teenager & started going to parties I used to turn up with a bottle of Martini or Chinzano. Drunk it neat out of the bottle. Horrible stuff.
