The Cowboys v Giants game was embarrassing.   Two so poor teams carving each other open and failing at simple tasks... like the Cowboys getting gashed on long passes over and over again and making Russel Wilson turn back the clock at least 8 years!

Cowboys are so soft in zonal defence, except you run right pass them.... jesus!    No real pressure on the QB, at least the run game looks more threatening than last year and Pickens/Cee Dee is a real danger... if only Dak would pass to them more !

Anyway, the Giants were 3-14 last year.   I think they'll be more like 5-12 this year and I expect the Cowboys to be the next worst in the NFC East and end up 6-11 or 7-10 or similar.    It's criminal how poorly our defence played and how soft it is in marking, coverage and defending deep balls.

I finished the Cowboys documentary series on Netflix last night.   Jerry Jones.... you have been fcuking it up since 1994..... and it isn't going to change.

To be fair, that Giants offence did put up 6 points against the Commanders...
  • Well that was fun!

An absolute disasterclass from the Patriots today. 5 turnovers including:

    1) A fumble by Stevenson (renowned fumbler for the Pats)
    2) An interception thrown in the endzone after a 7 minute, 17 play drive for 93 yards
    3) A second fumble by Stevenson (this time on the goal line to even the game after an interception early second half)
    4) a fumble by the second running back brought in after Stevenson's 2 fumbles, literally about 5 plays after
    5) a fumble by Maye as he scrambles, refusing to go down or throw the ball away

Add to that a multitude of stupid penalties, and it's amazing the Steelers only won by 7
  • Last minute winner for Charlton. FG to win as time expires for the Chargers. If carlsberg did sporting weekends…
3-0 start and all against AFC West rivals, wow.
  • An actually good performance this weekend by Carolina. Mainly set-up by our defence and running game. A 30-0 hammering of the Falcons, our biggest margin of victory in the regular season in nearly 10 years, since the 2015 season, when we won 38-0, also against the Falcons.

Right? Just needed a Norris win to complete the trifecta…but 2/3 ain’t bad. Bolt up!

I thought I was being really clever during the week putting the Falcons defence in my fantasy team

Watched the whole of Texans-Jags on a moody stream for free, and I want my money back. Horrendous win. But a win.

My poor old Saints are so bad it's embarrassing. At least we look like a good bet to get the first pick in next year's draft.

We managed 3 fumbles in 4 offensive snaps all in the final 2 and a half mins of the first half. The Vikes got 17 pts from them!!

Here’s hoping the Ravens defense turns up soon this year.

Sounds like an absolutely horrendous injury for Tyreek Hill - dislocated knee , torn ACL and torn other ligaments in his knee too. At 31 that could be him done completely.

Won’t happen with two on IR and the others out for a few weeks. Season over. Hopefully the end of Harbaugh and Orr.

Agree. I can probably be described as a step up from a casual fan but even I can see the organisation needs some change. Really the whole Tucker “situation” should have seen lots of heads roll but it’s sport so only results do that. I’m sure Harbaugh will be given the season but hopefully someone new in that seat next season

I reckon so....strong rumour that he was being moved on at the end of this season anyway. So definitely won't see him play for us again.
Was having a good game too!

Channel 5 coverage really is awful. Spent the last 5 mins of half time talking about Wentz and Darrisaw being out, second half starts and lo and behold they’re both in the game.

😁 beat the Bills in their backyard, and we looked good doing it (in the second half at least)

Oh if only we didn't quite literally throw the game away against the Steelers, the Pats might be 4-1 right now

Felt like a noticeable increase in empty seats at the London game yesterday.

My friends were at the game in Phoenix, Cardinals were looking comfortable when I fell asleep last night, woke up to see they’d lost!

It's honestly baffling. Lost 3 games in a row to last second field goals.

What's the CL view on the Commanders prospects this season?

I think we got a bit lucky yesterday and I certainly did not expect to beat the Chargers so convincingly in their own back yard.

It's great that Daniels is back, but having made it to the championship game last season,  we obviously have been set a ridiculously hard schedule.

I'm thinking with Phili  in our division,  the best we can hope for is the play offs, but I'm not sure we can win the necessary 9 games.

It is brilliant to have a quality franchise qb at long last though. Just need McLaurin fit now.

Couldn't believe what was happening in the Cardinals game

well clear of Titans then  -

RB drops the ball as he entered the end zone, doing that stupid, one hand carry and throwing the ball away thing.

Then the centre snaps ball straight into Murray's head as the one of the other linemen stands up, trying to point out a false start

then Cardinals get a game icing interception, the bloke who caught it falls down completely untouched and fumbles it. Another defender tried to pick it up but accidentally kicks it into the end zone where the Titans jump on the ball for a TD

Took 2 hours to get into WHL yesterday. The new NFL ticket app crashed leaving thousands of us locked out, missing most of Q1.
