I feel like all these foods I used to love now just taste so bland. Even Dominos is crap these days.
Was there a time when dominos wasn't crap?
When I was a student I thought it was god's gift to man.
When you're a student, beans on toast is a possible option for dinner.
I had a mate who would have barbecue sauce on a piece of toast.
  • As a student I lived on mash potato with sausage roll sandwiches with a bit of brown sauce. Luvly.

I fully understand the use of the word had.

I went to uni up north, one of their mums would come round once a month to give them a hair cut.
  • Trev, try their 1/4 pound of Olive wagyu creatively reformed into a sumptuous and lovingly crafted patty, nestling on a bed of exotic layered fresh green vegetable leaves and topped with the rarest of cultured cheese resourced from impeccable artisan producers, wrapped topped and bottomed by a luxurious sesame  briocche.
Brioche buns are the work of the devil. Apart from being ubiquitous, they are highly inappropriate as a complement to the burger: they are far too sweet. Really only suitable as a dessert bread. Sometimes I think we will buy anything as long as it sounds foreign.

I still have the recipe my mum wrote out for me on how to make mash potato.
  • Perhaps a question for Lee Bowyer at the Charlton managers night event on 2nd March.
Is there a blue plaque outside "Lee Bowyer was ere"
  • You lot , what are you like, all this fine dining….

The Charlton Retail Park McDonalds has the slowest service of any I have visited.

Much better value in IKEA restaurant on the first floor although they don't serve burgers..

  • Best thing in McDonald's is the milkshake.
If you want a takeaway burger then Burger King is best and our local Domino's is great. 😁

Do you order it by shouting over your left shoulder?

and going the very circuitous long route through the drive-thru
  • I don't think " dining" and "MacDonalds" really belong together.

And I would have thought one Macdonalds is just like another. I've had a Big Mac in Rome, Paris, Perth (Oz), Mallorca and all over the UK. Cant say there was any difference between them tbh.
But can you differentiate between a Big Mac and a Royale with Cheese?

    Step 1: Get potatoes
    Step 2: Mash them
Step 3: Call me if you have any problems.
Broken up raw potatoes with their skins on sounds disgusting.

Sounds like a cheap way to get heart trouble and diabetes.
