Mystery football shirts

Anyone ever ordered from one of these type of sites ? Received one as a gift and it was the shirt attached, well happy with it. Would love to see what others have received.

I’ve bought two of them, I got Greuther Furth in Germany and Emelec in Ecuador, very happy with both

My boys birthday next Tuesday and we’ve ordered him one. He loves a football kit and as long as it’s not another English team it’ll be fine

Could always make two mirror shirts by cutting it, and a charlton one in half and sewing them together cut and shut.

You can always request that. When I got mine there was a box for any requests and I wrote that I didn't want any British teams. Got sent a nice Sevilla shirt

Seems a very clever way to get rid of cheap nylon shirts at a good mark up from teams no one has heard of. There is no intrinsic value to a football shirt other than to show allegiance to your football team, so someone goes to some obscure Bolivian team, buys all of their last year unsold stock for a few pesos and makes a killing selling them to us. But I suppose there are some nice colours, it's fun, and the novelty value is good in the boozer.

There any many options, can choose more recent shirts too. It's a massively popular thing, lots of companies doing it. Easy birthday gift which is why I received mine, the boy loved buying it for me.

So a very good business model.

    1. Original shirt manufacturer is paid for goods.
    2. Bolivian team receive cash for distressed stock.
    3. Consumer gets good quality product at appropriate price.
    4. Business owner makes profit.

In reality I'm not sure step 2 actually exists, but even if it does, it's a good deal all round.

Never got the appeal of a shirt you have no affiliation with, but each to their own...

Some people collect shirts, I have a Farense shirt because I've been to/through Faro many times and one of my colleagues is from Faro, so last time he went home he got me the shirt.

I've collected them on and off since a kid, holidays, family etc, good for running in and cheaper than a dri fit tee. My boys got 7 different teams on the go atm. No different than a branded tee for me.

My son's second team courtesy of mystery football shirts.
Currently 3rd in the Egyptian premier league. He always keeps an eye out for their scores!

    That’s an affiliation Sam.

I bet he supports f***ing Benfica or Sporting though? 😄

I like the idea of this for a present for my boy. What's the best site to use?

Got this one. A team from the third tier of English football apparently.

The team are pronounced something like Chal’n according to a site that apparently can be named.

They’re nearly at the top of the Egyptian football pyramid
    They're now down to fifth.
    He's got the right hump!
