Hi guys,
I don't often post as much as used to - been away from the UK and therefore the Addicks for the last 6 and half years between Italy and Spain but have been back and in Manchester (unfortunately) for the last year.
Anyway, I work as a social media manager/presenter and have managed to put together a few reels this season on Charlton (hard to keep finding different angles to cover us 😅) and we just published one today on Blackpool-Charlton which I think is our best matchday experience content so far and would love to get your thoughts on it, thanks!

My main criticism is, do you ever pause for breath? It was like you were reading from a block of writing without commas or full stops.
(Disclaimer: Could be because I'm getting old)
Personally, would love to hear a "t" pronounced just a few times, but I know the world has moved on...
Long journey up to Blacpool and always enjoy trip but not a place to stay.
With regards to the pacing it’s because of the style as short-form content like this should ideally be 1 minute, 1:30 max and my editor on these projects tells me to speak faster. Consequently I’ve had the “t’s” pronunciation criticism just recently by my boss at my other client, DAZN so I’ll put it down to a bad habit picked up from this project as my pronunciation is generally very good.
Also there is usually a bit of a melodramatic intro - a “hook” in this type of short-from content in order to reel in the viewer.
Finally, the 154% crime rate was delivered a bit tongue in cheek but that’s actually the number (no idea how they arrive at it) that I’ve seen reported on the crime statistics.
Found a great Northern Soul bar and an Indian restaurant that stayed open until 3am. What’s not to like?
