McIntyre, or a complete formation change - Something like more of a flat 4-4-2, with Small and Campbell on opposite flanks, with the remaining Midfielder and Berry in the middle
  • Bench is horribly unbalanced. 2 centre backs, 3 strikers and a midfielder. Hi-lights just how much we needed that extra wide man through the door.
Gilbert claims to be part winger

Jones stumbled on the Small/ Campbell system but basically doesn’t value width.
He said the other day he wanted to sign a wide player, and playing 3-5-2 we don’t have loads of wingers we can call upon when needed.

Something outside the box like Mitchell on at RCB and Ramsay in midfield perhaps, we don’t have many options.

5-4 Charlton after being 0-4 down at HT, just to lift all the doom & gloom about the game on here .
Well I just hope we don't change a habit of a lifetime and score early doors. My buses have been f**led and I might be 10-15 mins late !
    Nailed on.
  • Hanlan on the bench for them, the only ex. I assume Forster-Caskey must be injured

In 2022/23 McIntyre started 9 games for Reading in the Championship in Midfield roles

  • I had chicken piergianni for dinner last night.
  • Watson on the bench would give us more options, but I'm not sure who would then be left out

    And??
  • Big test today.  Another team in form.

    3 points a must.
    A good performance a bonus.
No injuries or suspensions for Jones or Coventry.

    Red Army !

Mannion in at centre-half-forward, Gillespiephey the target man up front, Chuks comes on to protect the back line.

    Possibly.

  • Why do I put myself through this week after week, season after season?

Many a true word as they say...🤦‍♂️
  • Looking up @ briston_ Addick you’re one of about 10 people!

If it makes you feel any better, I'm nice and warm chilling at home, with the stream on, and about to go and do myself a bacon sandwich ahead of KO :)

You can always switch to a lower seat if the old eyes are playing up...😉

    Great help you are...🤦‍♂️
  • Fifteen minutes to the scheduled kick off time (or eighteen going by the internal Charlton clock) and there's hardly anyone in the stands.

Can't see too many queueing up in the street behind the Cupboard End either.

I suppose everyone's stuck in traffic and kick off will be delayed to allow everyone to get here?

Wait ... this is it? For a team supposedly in a good vein of form and on the cusp of the play offs?

    Woeful ☹️

On the tele-box, miserable weather, early kick off, trains and roads are usually screwed, I'm surprised there's anyone here tbh, I almost didn't make the 10 minute walk from my flat for it

My brother and nephew should be joining me on the back row shortly so we won't be complete Billy No-Mates.

And bugger me, I'm doing this again on Toosday evening, bringing granddaughter to that one.
  • Very very thin on the ground. Great idea this by Sky
