At Prediction League HQ, we had our monthly Board Meeting yesterday. Being a caring board, we are finding an increasing number of Prediction Leaguers who feel shame and guilt when scoring points if Millwall or Palace win. We are aware of competitors who have found themselves pressing F5 repeatedly, hoping that Millwall hang on to their 1-0 lead to bring them three Prediction League points. As a result, the Board have decided to offer a counselling service to Prediction Leaguers finding themselves in such circumstances. All you need to do is transfer £50 to the Charlton Life Prediction League account, and you will receive a random public shaming. This may be a tannoy announcement at the next Charlton home game revealing your crime, your face on a poster on every lamp post in Floyd Road, being locked in a small room and being forced to read aloud every post on the Transfer Rumours thread, or some other shaming. The National Institute of Psychologists assures us that after your public shaming, you will feel cleansed and be able to resume normal life without wondering if everyone knows you supported Millwall or Palace in a game. Be assured that we will put the £50 to good use, particularly as the Charlton Life Prediction League Holiday Fund needs topping up at the moment.
