Thing is we can't rely on 50/50 penalty calls to try and get something out of the game. We've been dog shit so far today and 2-0 almost flatters us still.
A tactician of any worth would quickly make the required changes to stop these constant flurries of Rotherham attacks. I don't think Jones is the greatest tactician.
You can’t abandon your game plan totally because the opposition are having a good spell.
His tactics have worked for the last couple of months. Has to give it a chance
“Good spell” - we’re 2-0 down inside the first 15 mins and could be getting tonked by half time if we don’t change something
Or you can ride out the spell and play the system that has worked really well the last few months.
Your approach means that you have to adapt your style to every opponent, which isn’t sustainable
I’d disagree about the system having worked well ‘the last few months’. It’s improved a bit recently in a few games (Wycombe, Reading) but still been poor in others (Cambridge). I can’t comment on today because I’m not watching but we are too inconsistent to get close enough to the play offs this season, in my opinion.
And the league tables opinion too !
Not just yours.
Nah you’re right. Let’s just sack off the gameplan that’s got us in to a bit of form and change it up because we’re losing early.

Jones hasn’t got a clue. Wanker
I’m not saying that at all. I’m just disagreeing with your point that the system has worked really well the last few months.

Bolton losing
Reading losing.
Would have been a good day to get 3 points & close the gap on the top 6.
