I used to really fancy a girl at Crown Woods school called Sam Moore. I ended up dating her mate instead.

Sadly she died in her early 20s of a brain tumour..

RIP to everyone called Sam Moore.

Same here with that.

Saw Geno loads of times, mainly Sunday nights at the Black Prince.

March 1967, Sam and Dave were part of the Stax / Volt tour at Finsbury Park Astoria, together with Otis, Carla Thomas, Eddie Floyd, The Bar-Keys and Arthur Conley.

What a night!
