have gone the last few years but last 2 i couldnt tickets people seem more fussed on writing whatever team they support on a card and getting that on the telly than watching darts.
i did however win a tshirt a few years ago as my pal wrote on his card - im with ted evetts then an arrow towards me.
I love watching the bald security guard on the left when the players do their walk on. He's proper moody , eyeing up his prey, sometimes slapping their hands out the way. although he's calmed down from earlier on in the tournament , he just leans his shoulder in on the crowds as he walks past them as they lean over the barriers , proper 🥩y character .

Spotted this guy too - has dished out some great chops/swats on many an arm daring to reach out too far. At the end of our session at Ally Pally last week, as the crowds were being shuffled out beneath the stands, my boy gets a tap on the shoulder, we turn round and it's this security guy, and he gives my boy a Peter Wright dart flight. My boy was pleased with the gift - I was more pleased that I was now chatting with the chop/swat security guy, though I wasn't brave enough to congratulate him on his technique.

Brilliant !! I did catch him on long range footage of the crowd towards the stage off to the side having a giggle , so with what you witnessed and I saw he is human after all . Im often rewinding to see his swatting each time ,night session he’s tired and more irritable !
Yes nice guy but switches up to bulldog mode as required!
I'm so glad to find a fellow admirer of this man's craft - like you, my eyes are on him during the walk-ons, always hoping someone in the crowd will need to be put in their place. His recent technique seems to have drifted into a general brush-off with his torso. We're overdue a forceful downward chop, there used to be 1 or 2 per walk-on - fingers crossed for tonight!

If Wright keeps that % up then no one will stop him. 70% is mental.

It worked though didn’t it?
Can’t see the Asp beating this German fella next.
I’ve watched more darts this year than I have since the 80’s. Being Tom & dick at Christmas has its bonus 🤣🤣
Has someone swapped Pikachu? 🤣🤣🤣
