LEABURN: 5 Improved us but missed two decent chances and gets the ball stuck under his feet
BERRY: 3 Made no impact, so slow on the ball

GILLESPHEY: 2. I'll break this down, I'm giving 1 point for managing to steal 93 minutes of football out of us and the other point is for managing to put his boots and kit on correctly. Guy is so woeful I doubt he'd get a game for gateshead atm

A.M-B: - 6 One of his better performances. Actually came and claimed some high balls.
GILLESPHEY: - 6 Steady performance. I can't remember him being beaten at all.
JONES: - 7 I'm marking him up a bit here, because we look SO much better with him in the team.
A.MITCHELL: - 5.5 Terrible passing. I noticed, as he tires, he gets worse and worse. You would expect all players to deteriorate as they tire, but Alex's performance fell off a cliff.
TAYLOR: - 5 If he's not delivering quality from dead balls (which he most definitely wasnt), the only thing he does well if fall over, and win fouls.
SMALL: - 5.5 Chosen over Edwards, but not sure it was warranted. Gets forward better, but on the whole, his delivery into the box is poor.
T.CAMPBELL: - 5.5 NOT a wing back. And again, his delivery into the box was pretty hit and miss.
COVENTRY: - 6.5 Was SO much better after Taylor was substituted. He really made us tick over. Maybe they both can't play in the same team.
ANDERSON: - 6.5 MotM Real Duracell bunny performance. Yes, some of his passing is suspect. Yes, sometimes his decision making leaves a lot to be desired. But you can't deny his workrate. In the first half, after a quick break by Mansfield, he was in our box covering for one of our CBs. I also noticed how much better he played when Leaburn, Kanu, and TC were all on the pitch together. Clearly, an understanding from their academy days together.
KANU: - 5.5 Good workate, but never looked like he was going to score.
GODDEN: - 5 I'm not sure if it's all his fault. The football we served up in the first half was pretty dire, and the passing to him was non-existant.
LEABURN: - 5.5 Changed the game when he came on. He would have got a higher score, but fluffed his lines in front of goal.
BERRY: - 5 Didn't impact the game. Was brought on for free-kicks and corners, but I don't remember us having a corner after he came on. Very slow around the pitch.

SMALL: 6 - did ok. Not everything comes off but at least he tries to make things happen
T.CAMPBELL: 6 - playing him as a right-sided wing back is absurd. Looked much better when moved out to the left wing. For all the criticism he receives, he created our only three chances
COVENTRY: 5 - one good pass inside the full-back to Small in the second half but his backwards and sideways passing make us so slow and predictable, especially when an away side are sitting deep
ANDERSON: 6 - no one questions his energy and commitment but his control and touch are poor
KANU: 4 - couldn’t control the ball and was dominated by Deji and his fellow defenders - although the ref missed repeated pull backs and made his task even harder
GODDEN: 4 - invisible in the first half, even making allowances for our atrocious team performance. He contributes nothing outside the box
LEABURN: 7 - missed two chances but his introduction revived the side and at last gave the Mansfield defence something to think about
BERRY: 3 - ambled around at a snail’s pace in his carpet slippers. His main objective appears to be to avoid any physical contact with the opposition. To think we have another 18 months of him…
Referee: 2 - a disgraceful performance. The same goes for the East Stand linesman, who was either visually impaired or had resolved not to get involved in anything remotely controversial
