The commentator has had a great game
Really like his honesty and talking about Tuesday night

Called out Alan Campbell for the 2nd goal

Why does Doc find it unable to play a forward pass...🤦‍♂️
Funny Jones signed him as an advanced central mid, instead of you know, an advanced central mid.

This commentator loves Erhahon doesn't he?
This commentator at least knows his stuff, and doesn’t sound like he’s being forced to commentate against his will 😂
  • Better than Tuesday. But that's a low bar.
  • HT 0-0 fair result half time, we have been creative on occasions without really testing the keeper, but neither have they, so 50/50 half, now time for some quality second half, Gas hasn't really been in it, Kanu good, but needs Godden to come on.

    Ahadme dog shit
    Doherty even dogger shit
    Anderson 2nd touch a tackle
    Gillesphy is so poor
Poor Kanu is working his nuts off
    So, an improvement then?

Unlike the bloke from Tuesday night, it sounds like he's actually watched both teams before.
  • Commentator saying this was a level up from Tuesday night performance 😂
Not quite as bad as Tuesday but still dreadful to watch.
  • 0 shots on target,
    0 successful crosses,
    2 successful dries
    & 8 fouls committed

    says it all
  • Not great, but far better than Tuesday, actually seen a few phases where we kept the ball on the floor and passed it, got nothing in the final third though

We look much better than we did on Tuesday. It's almost like we are a mid-to-lower-table League One team here

Decent first 45, which got better as it went. Wing backs not doing great and strikers feeding on scraps but competitive so far.

Against the wind will be very different but can sometimes be easier to play.

I expect Leaburn to be on at some point and maybe Small for Jones (especially as he's been booked).

    Still winnable...

Need to get Anderson, TC and Kanu off the pitch.  Anderson looks like a Sunday league player, TC allergic to defense and Kanu is always muscled off the ball by the defender.  Why does Jones continue to play our league two quality youth.

Only bright side is that Taylor (except for the one corner), Edwards and Jones have been good.
  • Why did nobody tell me it was an early kick off?

Reading the stats, successful crosses 0/8 for us.

Literally that's pretty much what Ahadme is in the side for, if we can't hit the target once all half how on Earth do we expect him to score? We've also had a far better passing accuracy than them, but once you get to the attacking third our 73% drops to 55%, showing our final ball is far from desirable

It's better than Tuesdays offering, but it's still poor for a football match. Allowing for the weather but we just dont seem to have a plan, any plan!
Take Anderson off, put Berry or Godden on.
However it's good to see Jones back in defence and Kanu up front.

Better than Tuesday, trying to pass it at least. First goal even more important than usual, if we concede I fear we will implode.

Conditions aren't helping, but a complete lack of quality on display from either side.

It's the usual borefest and my attention started to wander after 20 mins.

Biggest concern there is that I am pretty sure we had the advantage with the wind that half and it's going to get tougher in the second half.

Wish the would wipe the camera lens. At least we have a bit of width so we’re marginally easier on the eye than of late. Lincoln not up to much so there for the taking if we can keep pushing.  Nice to not have to turn the sound down for a change. Good commentator.

He continues to play our youth because all he has is Luton cast offs and players we have signed who are even worse

Not a thing of beauty but at least we are trying to pass the ball at times.
  • Nice little catch up with Bradley Prichard in that interview, and agree great memories...

I didn’t think that was awful? Missing a cutting edge but we’re defending well. Wish we would put a set piece into the box though

According to Louis Mendez, Charlton have the second highest rate of xG in League 1 from set pieces
Shows you how bad League 1 is for set pieces 🥴

You should be grateful we spared you from watching the first half.

That's how bad we are now that people cling on to it not being awful......

    Half time stat.
    Successful crosses
    Charlton 0 from 8
  • Feel sorry for Gas as not one cross has got anywhere near him. Still we've tried to play down the sides which is a little more attractive.
