Does anyone know if there is to be a more fitting tribute to Kevin Nolan.
Tuesday nights attempt was in my mind a total disgrace..a rushed event done at half time just before the cross bar challenge.
I appreciate the lack of time to arrange this but i expected a mention that a tribute would be made at the next saturday home game.
This would include players taking part in a minutes silence ( or applause ) with photos being shown on the big screen.
Kevin was Mr Charlton in my book. You couldnt wish to meet a nicer incredibly talented charismatic character who i had the
pleasure of meeting alongside his lovely wife Hazel on many occasions.
I hope the club will honour him accordingly .
RIP Kevin ..thankyou for all the stories and many laughs.. you will be sadly missed.
(I would send this to the club but don't know who to send it to ) Thankyou

There was a short tribute in the programme with the promise of a fuller tribute in the Mansfield programme which is fair enough given the short notice and print times but agree that the applause, done as it was, was shoddy.
Not blaming Brian Cole for that BTW. Thought he spoke well and from the heart but the setting was wrong.
Thats fair enough .. hope they do the same on the day re applause/silence.
Im not blaming Brian Cole either ...he did speak well .. its just it was rushed ... when it could have been done before kick off.
How many club leaders don’t disappear into the comfort warmth and free tucker in the boardroom/lounge at half time?
So if it was the owners, why did they sanction any tribute at all?
I feel sure that if it had been left to club insiders they would have suggested a minutes silence/applause before the game and black armbands, that's what i would have suggested.
