  • This isn’t a debate on Brexit - that’s been done to death on here. You hate it, I think it’s the best democratic (and patriotic) decision this country has made since we voted to go into Europe in the early 70’s.

I won’t convince you of my position, and you won’t convince me of yours.

ps have you watched the programme? What did you think of it?
You're a funny chap. You practically begged him to comment on Brexit then explained this wasn't about Brexit, while telling us you think it was the best democratic decision etc. Your cake is truly meeting all of your needs.
    LOL.

I think you might be misreading this thread a little bit.

This morning I posted "So did anyone here actually watch it? Having now done so, I'm pleased to say that I like him even more".

    No mention of Brexit.

You may be confused by James Seed quoting a post from December 3rd in response to a post from Prague Addick which had brought Brexit into the thread by calling me a Brexity Right Winger (a badge I wear with pride).

So there you go - no practical begging or cake, just your inability to understand the timeline or quoting function of a thread.
Get stuck in. Reactive and patronising. Just what I'd expect.
  • There's not many tv programmes that are important enough to get their own thread on here.  From the lack of comments, I suspect that this one isn't really hitting the mark. Anyone seen anything of interest on the programme that they'd like to share has it run its course?
  • I gave it about 20 minutes and it did exactly what it set out to do so I turned it off. There was nothing in that short clip I watched that I didn’t expect. Extremely rich family showing how extremely rich and privileged they are. With stupid accents.
I much more enjoyed Vinnie Jones second series on his farm with his earned wealth. Not that I think it was that great and I don’t think he is good at acting but at least it’s nice to see someone from a working class background play the landed rich guy with all the trimmings. With a more than over the top London accent.
I hope sooner rather than later this obsession with reality tv and other peoples less than interesting lives ends.

It’s not often I quote Chizz, but I think this warrants it…

    Patronising? That’s a big word.

I’m also not sure it’s “reactive”, unless you mean in the sense that my response was literally a reaction to your post, in which case your post was also reactive, as is this response.

Don’t worry about acknowledging the false basis of your original post, I’ve already pointed that out for you.

ps have you watched the programme? What did you think of it?

I’ll be adding your name to the list of posters that I particularly look out for. Fascinating stuff.

    You have a list? :D

Clearly more of that angst I mentioned earlier.

And, pray tell, what is the consequence of being on your list? What is the reason behind “looking out for” someone you don’t know, who doesn’t care, on a forum that has no consequence?

Help is at hand if you are willing to seek it.

Some posters more than others have insights and information that is beyond the normal no nothings like me. Not just football but in all aspects of life. It’s one of the marvels and uniqueness of this forum. You can call it a list if you like but I don’t need to write the names down. I can remember.  Obviously you don’t need any insights from others. You’ve of course got the whole thing nailed. When I do need to seek help I’ll bear you in mind. For insights I refer you to the Gavin Carter thread.

Do you really think "patronising" is a big word? There's lots more.  Repeating "reactive" and "reaction" twice doesn't really make any particular point and I can't be arsed to respond to that.

I haven't seen it.  I think the man is an odious twat and I wouldn't give him viewing time.  By the way asking if I have seen the programme and then what I think of it is a bit disingenuous.  That's a big word meaning dishonest.

"PS" Should be in capitals with a colon at the start of a sentence.  You're welcome.
