Anyone off to a non-league game this weekend?

If anyone is at a loose end and needs a football fix with a Charlton twist - come on down to Baylis Avenue in Thamesmead and watch Erith Town tomorrow against Hythe

This is their first year in the Isthmian South East and they are hovering just outside the play-offs and out-performing some of the so-called big boys at that level with vastly superior budgets

It's a cracking little set up, some half decent football, a VERY decent burger stall - and their chairman is a Charlton fan.  What more could you want!?

Am due to visit Wellingborough in Jan. One of my closest friends moved there years ago and I’ve stayed in the hotel next door loads of times.
