I’ve recently taken this hen in and asked the owner what her name was. She was named after a British actress by his son because of the likeness.
    Any guesses?

Out of the list of about 100 names on this thread, Milton Jones would have been about 95th if I was listing them in order of likeness
I think the 95th guess as to who this is was Ronaldo. Looks can be deceiving ;-)

Ridiculed Ronaldo statue replaced DW 06182018

I don't know why this picture gets so widely mocked - I think it's a lovely tribute to Niall Quinn.

Based in how much of a likeness the last one had to Milton Jones, I'll go for Keira Knightley?
Rather than Knightley, could it be Tess Daly?

  • Not right so far. I have to admit I’ve never heard of her - but I don’t have a tv or watch films. When I looked her up I’m sure most people would have heard of her.
  • Just looked her up again. She’s pretty much a household name. Extra clue - she’s Welsh
  • Ruth Jones
  • Ruth Jones
To narrow it down a lot her surname isn’t Jones.
  • Maggie Smith

    Ruth Rendell - it's a complete mystery.
  • Olivia Coleman ?
  • Dame Judy Dench
  • Can I just say that both pictures are very good with the Chickens sharp and the background blur which when I was into Photography you had to have your Manuel camera on F4 or 5.6 aperture to create a narrow depth of field and the fastest shutter speed  possible to freeze the movement and focus the main feature.
No doubt it was all automatic now and it does it for you ?

Welsh but not a Jones ?

HENna Daniels was in Hinterland and Holby City ?

A friend of a friend came round and took photos of the hens. He usually take photos of wildlife (amateur) and had never seen a hen close up. He spent the morning here at has taken some amazing shots.
If I had taken the photos you wouldn’t have any idea who they looked like.
