Ramsay has been excellent, but the loss of Jones has been more damaging so I'd vote for him. The heart of the defence has been awful since his injury, and Mannion also looks less secure.
Any new opinions on this? Still think I'd agree that Ramsay and Jones are our best two players.
After that I think it's a bit more debatable, though Mitchell has been more consistent than most.
Godden can score goals but doesn't offer much outside the box. Not pacey and energetic like Kanu, not big and strong enough to consistently hold it up well and win headers.
Taylor's forced his way into NJs plans. Coventry has been fairly steady, but I think Taylor's more ambitious passing has shown that Coventry could be more positive with his own passing.
Edwards is another who's pretty reliable, but he's not stood out as a full back in the way Ramsay did when he was fit.

Mitchell, Coventry, Jones.
Ramsay would be a shoe in, but the injury has taken him out of the running for me. Otherwise he'd easily be up there.
I could see Terry Taylor being in the conversation by the seasons end.
Expect most people's top 5 to be, Mitchell, Jones, Ramsay, Coventry, Taylor, in no particular order.
