The responses are more embarrassing than any light show, seriously, some oddly precious people out.
I remember the outrage at the phone lights going on at an evening match a couple of seasons ago. Society is all about faux outrage these days. I'd be outraged if it were not so funny.
Well said. A load of soccer sh*t. Am I ‘outraged’? Not really. But I don’t want this plastic yank rubbish at the Den. Same with drums and ‘ultras’. All so contrived. I don’t know about you lot but I quite like British terrace culture as it is. Does it produce the best atmosphere? Not always, but at least when it does it’s a real one and not artificial.

I reckon I could replicate that by turning on and off my living room light with one hand, whilst turning the lamp by the television set on and off with the other.
Whilst we’re languishing in league one I’ve little or no appetite to giggle at this minor issue, I’d take flashing lights before a game and sitting 5th in the worlds most exciting league over us right now.

And goal music.
I was on the concourse so missed it. If I was in the stands I would’ve booed it.
We had goal music for one season but the club scrapped it because we said we didn’t want it and they listened.
I see you managed 16,000 gate for Leeds, 8k less than our last league game attendance
But many more than we ever get in the ground when day trippers aren't being lured by the sniff of star dust.
There are many reasons to laugh at Millwall - in fact too many to mention - but playing Leeds in the Championship and having 16,000 in the ground for a league match, and trying to compare that against one match versus Wrexham, isn't one of them.
What a load of ol' nonsense about nothing. If they'd just done it without making a big thing out of it, no one would have made any fuss or even taken a blind bit of notice.
The only embarrassing thing about it is they're a bit rubbish tbh. I do look forward to Seth's attempts to recreate the look at The Valley though. 😉

You still have goal music and have had it for years, no? “Let ‘em all come down to the Den”??

It’s the opposite of “nothing”. It’s the thin end of the wedge. It’s nothing less than the erosion of the essence of the cultural phenomenon that is the working class sport of football.
if you think this is nothing, then don’t complain about the lack of replays in the FA cup, the nonsense of having our first team playing premier club under 21s, the inevitable “overseas series”. It’s the Americanisation and rampant commercialisation of our sport that has already ruined the Premier League, the European Cup, the European Championship and the next World Cup (in the USA again).
of course this is hyperbole, but hyperbole with a decent dose of reality thrown in.

No. As I said we had it for one season but it was scrapped. They play it at the final whistle if we’ve won, then straight after is rocking all over the world

How they get that to work like that , I turn a fucking light switch on in my house and a telly turns off , half the poxy lights are on strike with intermittent action every so often .
